Relax

I had a million questions by the time I woke up, unfortunately Keecho wasn't next to me when I did. I was back in his bed, the smell of cooking lures me out of the warm bed. I walked down the hall and found Meza and Annie cooking breakfast, do I decided to ask them my questions.

"Hello Yoru." Meza said not turning around from the stove.

"Hi, um... can I ask you a few questions?"

"Sure." She said as Annie sat down before a plate full of food was placed down in front of both of us.

"How d-did you find me?"

"One of Darer 's men told us, he didn't tell us his name and we didn't ask." She added after she saw me thinking about who it could be.

"Narion." I said after remembering what he said to me before Keecho rescued me, "Just between you and me,
I want Keecho to rescue you."  His voice repeated in my head. 'Would he tell Keecho where I am? Is that what he ment to say: I told Keecho where you are he's coming to save you? Did he do it out of the good of his heart or was he paid?'

All this those questions swam around in my head giving me a headache.

"Do you have anymore questions? If not, eat your breakfast before it gets cold." Meza said impatiently, eating her pancakes and eggs.

"I have one more, that you can answer." Mumbling last part under my breath. "Why did y-you have horns?"

"Dragon. Remember?" She said tapping my forehead. I nodded and finished my breakfast. After we were all done Annie picked up all our plates and put them in the sink.

"I-I think we should take a-a walk around town." Annie quietly suggested.

"That sounds like a wonderful idea. And we will do that after Yoru puts pants on." Meza giggled, I looked down and I did indeed have no pants on. I quickly ran to the room and slipped on pants, not pulling them all the way up so my tail wouldn't get caught. When I got back Meza threw me a jacket and a long piece of fabric, then put on her own.

"What's this for?" I asked examining the piece of fabric in my hands.

She started laughing and walking over to me, "That's a scarf silly. You put it around your neck so it doesn't get cold." I nodded and let her take the 'scarf ' out of my hands and wrap it around my neck. Outside it was snowing, I felt a flake land on my nose and I sneezed. Annie and Meza started giggling, while I blushed and pulled my scarf up higher.

We walked through the city for half an hour then went into a little coffee shop. Meza walked up to the front, like she owned the place, and went behind the counter. Turns out she actually did own the place. She came out again with three glasses in her hands, she handed the short, stubby one to Annie. Then handed me a taller, blue one and took a sip out of a tall metal one.

"What's this?" I asked watching everyone take a sip of their drink.

"It's hot chocolate." Annie answered, following Meza to a small table with three chairs. As I sat down I finally started to notice my surroundings, there were a few other tables only one of them occupied. There was a blonde man in a black jacket, he had one sliver hoop earring and golden eyes. He was talking to a women, who was frantically writing something down in a calender. As he talked I noticed something shiny bobbing in and out of his mouth. I soon realized that it was a tongue piercing.

"You know it's rude to stare, right?" Meza asked grabbing my shoulder making me jump.

"Do you know him?" I ask.

"Yeah, he comes in here a lot and always orders the same thing, I think his name is Levi." Meza explains standing up and putting the, now empty, cups to the sink behind the counter. "You can say 'hi' if you would like. He doesn't bite, I think." She says when she gets back.
