I trudged slowly through the doors of English High School.New school again.New city New life ....yea right .Mom thinks this is what we need . I need my friends .I need my old life. Fuck this new life .I want my old one back.It wasn't so bad.

Making my way to the office I was trampled on by a dark haired guy in a football uniform.

Obnoxious fucker almost knocked me on my ass !

"Can I help you honey ?" a kindly older lady who smelled like vicks asked behind the desk in the office

"I'm Deanna Dubois I'm new here " I told her nervously.

"Sit over there and I'll get you your schedule "

I sat on the bench by the door marked Principal and waited.

While I waited a girl about my age with reddish brown ...what do they call it ?Auburn ? hair stormed through the door like a hurricane , spoke softly to the vicks lady and slumped in down onto the bench next to me.

"Ugh! Stupid jerk Mr. Hames. I wasn't doing anything wrong. My mom is going to be so mad she's getting another call this week." Alivia grumbled before she noticed a new girl looking at her. "Hey are you new here? I'm Alivia but you can call me Liv. Everyone does."

I sat staring at her like she had three heads .

"Deanna . Who's Mr Hanes ? Yea just moved here and some jerk with a goatee  tried to plow me down in the hallway stupid jocks  "

"He's the jerk history teacher who believes children should be seen not heard. He got mad because I was talking quietly in class. I'm guessing it was Jayden Knight that ran into you. He's got a God complex because he plays sports. Just ignore him if you can."

I stared at her wide eyed .

"He's cute .Well Jayden I never met Mr Hanes yet hopefully I don't"

Where the hell was my schedule ?

I kinda like Liv she's got  something I definitely do  not.Balls.

Something told me in this school I needed them to deal with people like Mr.Hanes and Jayden .
