I made my way slowly toward where the mean looking man stood when Liv appeared out of nowhere.

"Mr Hamilton was looking for you " she said winking at me as she led me toward the outside entrance to the music room.Jordan stood waiting just inside the door.

"Jayden what the fuck man ? You trying to get her suspended her first day ?"

I stood watching the two of them eye each other like dogs eyeing the same toy.

"Jordan shut the fuck up she's fine ."

I looked to Liv for help.

Stepping forward as I stepped back Liv got between the two

"Jayden don't you fucking have practice for something  ? J don't you have shit to do for Hamilton ?"

Both nodded as she led me toward the piano where Mr Hamilton stood waiting.

Class finished without a problem ,as we filed out of into the hallway Jayden stood by my locker again.

Smiling I walked over, unlocked the padlock and swung the door open.

Jayden sauntered over smiling

"So Deanna I been thinking this morning kinda got fucked up.I apologize completely. Since I don't see that as a date " Jayden paused as he used his fingers indicating air quotes

Who the fuck does that? Air quotes really ?

I waited for him to continue hoping he'd hurry up.

"Whatta ya say to dinner Saturday night ?"

The thought of the grease palace made me want to gag.Luckily I had plans.

I shut my locker door with more force than I intended ,turning to him

"I already have plans .I can't .I'm sorry " I told him trying to sound apologetic.

Jayden studied me through narrowed eyes .

"Sure you do " he hissed his voice now turning irritable and moody.

He turned to walk in the direction he came from ,muttering under his breath as his fist connected with the locker door next to mine.

Hearing the shuffling of feet behind me I spun on my heel to see Jordan standing there ,eyeing his brother as he shook his head .

"Are you okay ?What did he say to you ?"Jordan asked softly.

"He wanted me to go out with him Saturday night " I explained

"And you turned him down ?"

I nodded.

"I already have plans so it wasn't hard to say no"

Jordan's demeanor changed as he smiled.

"It's not a good idea to get involved with my brother .He's a prick.He uses girls."

He lifted a hand as he smoothed a stray hair  back from eyes.

The touch was unexpected and I jumped slightly.

"S-sorry "

Jordan smiled "It's ok I probably shouldn't have touched you without saying something.That freaks people out sometimes. I apologize "

Jordan's voice dropped an octave as he leaned closer to my ear, whispering

"Unless you don't mind me touching you."

The sound of his voice sent a shiver through me.

Shaking my head slowly I shook my head as words escaped me.

"When did you become  a mute ?" Liv asked me as she appeared out of nowhere

"Just around me " Jordan teased

"She likes you big brother "

I stood there as my face turned crimson. They were fucking talking about me like I wasn't even there !

"Ah HEM !" I cleared my throat

They both stopped their bickering and stared at me as if I grew a second head

"I'm right fucking here ya know "'

Jordan pressed his hand into my hip, pulling me closer to his side.

"I make you nervous don't I ?"

Liv giggled before I spoke

"N-no "

"Ha ! You stuttered you're full of so much shit !"Liv taunted me.
