"I just wanted to say I'm sorry for running into you earlier. I hope you'll accept this flower as an apology. You're new here. What's your name?" Jayden  asked as he handed her a yellow rose.

"Deanna " I mumbled staring at him  " I am .Thanks for the flower . You are ?"

"Deanna. Hmm. I like that. I'm Jayden. You look like you want to get out of here. It's not that bad of a place if you know the right people" he said with a smirk.

I wondered what Liv meant about him being an ass at that point .Jayden didn't seem all that different than his brother. He seemed somewhat more confident but that could be because Jordan seemed a lot shyer than Jayden.

"You name is um interesting " was all I could muster as I felt eyes boring into my back. I shifted to look behind me but didn't see anyone .Shrugging it off I turned back to Jayden

"I kinda do this is so different than my old school " I told him. What I didn't tell him was I wanted to get the hell out of this city not just this lame ass school.

Well I drove today. What do you say about getting out of here and going to get something to eat?" He asked with a wink.

I hesitated for a beat.Jordan would be waiting in the music room. He'd been so nice so far ."Sure " I lifted a shoulder not looking at Jayden

Hoping it wouldn't hurt Jordan's feelings. He really is a sweet kid.

"Well let's go" he said while taking her hand and leading her down the hallway

I stumbled to keep up with Jayden as he led me into the student lot.It still felt as if we were being watched.I hoped we didn't get caught or worse for leaving school grounds.Despite my disdain for my new school my mother would still kill me if I got into any trouble.
