"Not as hungry as you thought?"

"Cramps " I lied again as I stabbed the olive with my fork ,popping into my mouth.

"We could get out of here and I could show you the town?"

I needed to get the hell out of this dump.Nodding I took a sip of my water ."I'm sorry " I apologized trying to sound upset that we were leaving.

"You're fine sweetheart. I'll drive you around and let you get to know your new home."

My new home ? Was he insane ? I hate it here .

"My bag is still at school I need a few things .Could we head back there,please ?"

"Sure. No problem. I have practice anyways this afternoon"

I murmured a thank you as Jayden tossed a few bills on the table and placed his hand on my lower back again letting me lead the way out the door.Once we got to his car he opened the door ,let me in the passenger seat ,once I buckled in he closed the door as he sauntered over to the drivers side. The drive back to school was silent except for the radio playing some hip hop station.I'm not a fan of hip hop so I leaned my head against the glass of the passenger window watching the streets zip by at what seemed an accelerated speed compared to the earlier drive to the diner.

"So why the move to Boston?"

"Fuck if I know ask my mother " I mumbled.

Boston is great. Just give it a chance sweetie. I could help you if you'd like" he said with a wink

"Jayden noone can replace my friends or the people from Philly .I miss them so much "I was trying to keep my emotions in check because talking about back home made me more emotional than I would like to admit .

"I know they can't be replaced but you can make new ones that will mean just as much if you open up a little and give Boston a chance. You haven't been here very long. Give it a chance sweetie" Jayden  said trying to sound genuine

I shrugged and turned to look out the window again as the school came into view .I just wanted to feel something for this new life .But I felt nothing.

Jayden shrugged, huffing at her ignoring his suggestion.

"She has a stick up her ass that needs to be removed." He thought to himself as he sped up to get to the school faster.

I couldn't wait to get out of the car.I felt like I was going to vomit.Leaving school with Jayden had definitely been a mistake.Here it was the first day and here I already made a shit decision.

As Jayden parked I noticed Liv standing by a window ,her arms crossed over her chest.

Not long after I got out of the car I saw an older mean looking man I'd had yet to meet in the school but judging by the look on his face he was not happy and we were probably in deep shit.
