I looked around the apartment I couldn't believe it was ours

I was so overwhelmed I had to keep from crying

"Jordan why did you do this ?I mean I'm grateful but I don't know how to process this "

"I love you with all my heart and I just can't imagine my life without you in it. I want this to be where we get our start as a couple. I want you to feel safe and protected here"

"J why do you love me so much ? I walked away from you ,left you .I don't want to hurt you "

"I love you because you are you. You're so strong but so kind. There are so many reasons why I love you that it will take the rest of our lives for me to tell you

"Did you enter that contest while I was in Philly ?How'd that go?"

"I did enter the contest." He said while trying to keep a straight face as to not give away the good news.

"What happened tell me please .I love your voice !!! You should be famous J someday you will be I can feel it "

"Well it was a tough crowd. I'm not sure if I did well or not" he said with a wink ,

I pulled him closer "They didn't tell you ?Isn't that a bad thing or are they going to tell you at another date "

I saw the look on his face and something told me he knew more than he was letting on

"You do know something ! You're messing with me aren't you ? ".

  Jordan chuckled. "I made it! I'm in!" 

 

"I'm so proud of you !! You're so talented I noticed that the first time I heard you sing.How long is the competition and is it here in Boston or will you have to go somewhere else ?I rambled as fear that I'd lose him too began to consume me 

"It'll be a 6 week competition and I believe it'll be here in Boston. They haven't really told us much yet. We'll know more next week at the first meeting. They also said we can bring one person with us during the competition so will you be there?"

"I'll be there as long as you want me to be .What happens after you win ? Because I have faith in you that you will win . Where does that leave us ?"

"Well if I win I get a record contract and I'll go on tour and I hope you'll be there for everything."

I pushed into him more"I'll be right by your side as long as you want me there "

We were interrupted by banging at the door

Before either of us could answer I heard him shouting

Jayden.

"You motherfucker you won't win.You may have gotten Deanna for now but not for long I'll make sure you lose her when you lose the competition. You're not the only Knight that can sing asshole "

Jayden continued to bang on the door "Deanna I know you're in there .You're mine not his !! And when this is all over you'll regret ever meeting Jordan "

"Go the fuck home Jayden! This is getting ridiculous. Your petty jealousy is why you're single and you'll stay that way until you change. You'll never win the competition Jayden. You don't have the discipline for practice. Now go before I call dad to come pick your ass up!" Jordan shouted as he tried to stay calm.

"I love you "I whispered as I noticed Jordan's jaw twitch in anger
