Twenty Nine

The next morning my skype ringing woke me up

I sat up a bit dazed but clicked answer anyway because who else would be skyping me at this ungodly hour but my husband

"Hey babygirl "

"Hey honey "

"Did you sleep okay ?You look tired "

I shrugged "I miss you "

"Any problems ?"

"No other than missing you but everything else is okay "

"Do you have class this afternoon ?"

"At one "

"I'll be on a break at twelve so we'll be able to talk again "

"Why are hanging up now or not in the mood to talk right now ?"

"Babe I never said that I was just saying we can talk again at that time I'm all for talking now "

I was just teasing him but the look on his face was so cute when he thought I wanted to hang up .

I could just sit here and chat with him forever but I knew he didn't have that kind of time at the moment

"How'd the morning show appearance go ?"

"Didn't you watch ?"

"Of course I did and you looked nervous as hell "

Jordan chuckled "I was and I was wishing you were here with me .I feel so much calmer when you're with me babe .You ground me "

"I wish I was with you right now I miss you so much "

"I know but school is important and we both have work to do "

"Did you get your coffee yet?"

I shook my head no

"Why not ?I left the pot on the timer before I left it should be done and ready to go "

I carried my tablet with me to the kitchen where the pot was indeed full and ready to go

"I can't believe you didn't smell it "Jordan teased

"I did I thought I was dreaming "

"Nah I wanted to make sure my baby had her coffee ready to go when she got up this morning "

I poured a cup and spooned some sugar into it before opening the fridge to get some creamer

"Caramel creamer ! Did you put this in here before you left ?I ran out yesterday "

Jordan smirked "Yep I grabbed it while you were in class when I noticed your empty bottle in the trash "

"Thank you baby "I said as I took my first sip

Jordan nodded smiling

He went on to explain what the rest of his morning would entail as I sipped my coffee and listened intently

Someone called his name and I had a feeling our call was soon coming to an end

"Baby I have to go they're calling me into the studio "

I pouted but I knew he had to go

"I'll skype you around noon "

"I'll be here "

He blew me a kiss and then the screen went black
