"ITS CHRISTMAS"

Followed by the loud shouting there was a noise which seemed to be a party blower and before Ant even got the chance to turn around in his bed and grace Declan with his presence, Dec was on top of him on the covers and blew the party blower in his face making it touch ants nose at full length

"It's...6:49am" Ant groaned looking at his phone from under his pillow and threw his face back into his pillow looking away from Declan who was still on top of his body clearly making him self comfy in his Christmas hat that has flashing lights making Ant sigh in despair

"We're in Australia..."

"Which means it's the 30th back home, lucky for you it's the 1st here" Dec beamed and blew the party blower in his face again earning ant grabbing it and throwing it off the bed "just go back to sleep"

"Why? We got to leave anyway...come on man it's Christmas" Dec lowered his body so he was laying flat down upon Ant and stroked across his cheek gently pecking his nose "I'll make you festive by the end of the day" it almost sounded promising as they joined in a loving kiss just as Ali burst through the door

"Nice hat Dec, can you both get moving you've got 45 minuets"

"See someone appreciates my hat" Dec sassily swayed his hips as he walked out the room to go and get ready leaving both their manager and Ant laughing

In the studio

*snow is falling all around us...*

"...children playing having fun..." clicking his fingers along to the beat as he went through the script after loading up his laptop to check the Newcastle latest score. Dec never really understood why Ant didn't like Christmas, if there's a reason he certainly hasn't told Dec.

Watching from a far Ant could only admire his boyfriend who was happily swaying his hips to the Christmas beats as his head was deep in football and scripts. The younger Geordie has never really understood why everyone gets all festive as soon as November hits never mind December. If he thought about it, he could probably trace his dislike for Christmas back to his childhood

*flashback*

"Anthony we just don't have the money"

"But I'm going to be the only one who doesn't give a present to anyone...again" Ant protested, it's been hard since his dad left a few months ago. When he was there they were financially stable so they didn't need to run round to make ends meet. Now he's gone, well the pressure falls upon both Ant and his mother to support the household for them and Sarah. Ant always felt that responsibility of being a father figure to his sister and it hinders him everyday as to how he can't provide for her and can't help his mam. His mam is working three jobs just to make ends meat and she comes home shattered leaving Ant to make tea for himself and his sister "I'm sorry love I am, since your fathers left things have been hard it's just the way it is..."

...Ant was snapped out of his flashback with a shorter, brown haired man in his face clicking his fingers trying to get his attention

"Hello?! Earth to Anthony" Decs voice rang through his ears as he shook the memory from his mind. He couldn't let Dec know he's hated Christmas since childhood, it'd make him look like a Scrooge and he couldn't bare the pity Dec would have for him

"S...sorry pet, what is it"

"We have a run thro...what's wrong with you today?" Dec changed his sentence half way through as he seen Ants gaze take a different direction and look right past him into mid air like Declan wasn't even there. The shorter man searched for his partners eyes as he placed on hand on Ants arm in a gentle way, he was slowly becoming concerned about Ant
