Scott didn't have much, but he said his stuff was being sent down from his hometown. Now, Mitch had never heard of Brighton, but when Scott told him about his life while living there, he wanted to see it so badly.

It was around seven and Scott had finished setting up his room and was all unpacked and showered for the night. He was seated on the couch waiting for Mitch to get back with two mugs, tea and coffee. Guess who had what.

"So, Mitch, tell me about yourself." Scott said as he moved to face the smaller brunette. "Like what?" Mitch asked as he took a seat on the couch next to his new roommate. "Anything you're willing to share." Scott shrugged before taking a sip of tea from his mug. "Okay. Um, I grew up in Texas, but I was born in Missouri while my parents were visiting family. I had a good childhood, a lot of friends, supportive parents, especially when I came out. They always encouraged me to be what I wanted, so I'm studying to be a pediatrician. What about you?" Mitch asked.

"I was born and raised in Brighton, it was just me and my mom for a long while after my dad left us. I didn't have a lot of friends in school, I was too shy to talk to people. Uh, I met a few people online through social media, like Kirstie I met on twitter and we conversed through snapchat. My mom wasn't extremely supportive of me when I came out to her, but she said that I was my own person and as long as I was happy she would be too." Scott nodded.

"What made you come out, if I might ask?" Mitch questioned curiously. "When I was fifteen I started realizing guys a little more. I mean, I am still attracted to girls but I'm more leaning towards males now. I just haven't really met a lot of people that didn't mind what I like, and my last boyfriend wasn't always nice about it." Scott explained. "He didn't like how you didn't pick a sexuality?" Mitch asked for clarification. "It's not that I didn't pick one, I just don't think my sexuality should be a label for me. A lot of my friends started to do that to me when I told them." Scott said softly.

Mitch nodded, "Makes sense. I guess it's just something I had to do in my life. Kids in my town tried to push each other to choose a sexuality or preference, I guess I just got used to it." Scott nodded, "I don't mean to sound rude, but I'm just exhausted and I couldn't sleep on that flight. Could we continue tomorrow?" He asked kindly. "Of course. I'll see you in the morning." Mitch smiled as he watched his new roommate say goodnight and go to his bedroom.

A/N and what I had Scott say is a good point. At my old school you had to pick a label for your sexuality. It's amazing that you want to be you, it really is! But when you push me to choose what sexuality I want to go by, I don't like it. Just let me be me!
