Scott looked down as Avi walked him home. Mitch took the car and Avi walked because he lives close, but he didn't want Scott going alone so he offered, and he was very happy when Scott accepted. "So, no siblings?" Avi asked kindly. "No. My mom wanted more kids, but after my dad she didn't want to remarry. She always told me I was enough. What about you?" He smiled.
"I have an older sister, Esther. She's been my rock for as long as I can remember. She's actually getting married in a few months, I got my invitation just yesterday." Avi explained. "That's exciting. I've been to my high school friends wedding, but they went to a courthouse so it wasn't the whole big celebration thing." Scott shrugged. "I can add a plus one if you want. I mean, we'll have to talk about how I introduce you to family, but it'll be fun." Avi smiled.
Scott sighed, "I don't know, I don't want anyone to be uncomfortable because some random weirdo is there." He shrugged before Avi stopped. "You are not a weirdo. I'll tell you what, I will mark plus one on the invitation, if we are still together by then we can go, if not I will ask my friend Sam to go with me." He offered.
Scott sighed but nodded, "Deal." He smiled. Avi nodded back, "Shall we continue?" He asked as he let Scott start walking first before he rushed to walk beside him. The smile never left Scott's face.
