Mitch woke up late at night to someone knocking on the door. He walked out angrily, wearing a robe and sporting messy hair and clear signs that he's tired. "I don't know who has the nerve to awaken me from my beauty rest, but there will be hell to pay when I-" he began, freezing when he saw a very upset Scott that had been crying. "I forgot my key." Scott mumbled before Mitch gently pulled him in and hugged him.
Scott curled up in Mitch's bed as Mitch made himself coffee and Scott tea. "Coffee keeps you awake, you know." Scott mumbled sadly, he tried to force a smile, but his lips didn't even twitch in the right direction. "I'll need to be wide awake for when I murder the asshat that hurt you." Mitch smiled as he sat next to Scott. "Avi told the police my teacher raped me, and he didn't even tell me until now." Scott said sadly.
Mitch sighed and hugged Scott tighter, "It'll be okay, baby. I'm so sorry. I'll kill him." Mitch said angrily, becoming furious by the second. "Please just- I don't want to talk to him again. He doesn't even care how it effects me. He thinks I'm protecting that monster." Scott scoffed. "He can be a real idiot." Mitch mumbled. Scott was too upset to argue, he just wanted to be held and sleep. He wanted to run away from his problems. Run away from his life. Run away from Avi.
Scott just wanted to run.
