Scott was at school still, he had to talk to his teacher, so Mitch took the time to call Avi over to "hang out" when in reality he would just be talking Avi into asking Scott out.

Mitch was sitting on his bed finishing up a paper when there was a knock on the door. After taking a deep breath he answered the door and smiled when he saw Avi, "Hey, come in." He said as he moved aside. "Is Scott here?" Avi asked as he looked around. "He's still at school." Mitch explained. Avi nodded, "Okay. I wanted to ask him about the wedding again. They decided to push it back a bit. Personally, I think they just wanted to meet Scott, but their excuse was to make sure everything was perfect." Avi shrugged.

Mitch smiled and walked to the kitchen, grabbing two cans of coke. Scott was too scared to drink, he wasn't the type. "You really like him, huh?" Mitch asked with a smiled as he handed a can to Avi. "I really like him. I'm just not sure how he feels about me. I feel like he's just so shy." He thought aloud.

Mitch shook his head, "Avi, he's still extremely shy around me. Sure, I've known him for a while, but when we started talking he got better. Especially when he was talking online with Kirstie. Talk to him about it, don't push him and be polite about it, but talk about what he's comfortable with. " He smiled. Avi nodded, "Yeah. I can do that." He smiled before Scott walked into the house as he played with his keys to the front door.

"Is everything okay?" Mitch asked as he and Avi stood when they both noticed the tears in Scott's eyes. Scott looked at them sadly, his hands were shaking and he was hugging his stomach, "M-Mitch, can I talk to you about something?" He asked nervously. Mitch nodded, "Come on. Avi, can you make some tea? Please?" The brunette asked the older boy softly. Avi nodded, "Of course." He said softly before Mitch took Scott to his bedroom.

Avi was in the kitchen, finishing up the tea as he wondered why Scott wouldn't ask for him. When Mitch got back from giving Scott his tea, he had Avi sit at the table because he could tell he was upset. "How is he?" Avi asked coldly. "Not good." Mitch sighed. "What did you talk about?" Avi mumbled. "Nothing really. The entire time I was assuring him that even if he told you what's wrong, you wouldn't hate him. He wouldn't tell me why he was upset, Avi. He wanted me to assure him everything would be fine after he told you the reason." Mitch said softly.

Avi sighed and leaned forward, "I'm still upset with him." He shrugged. Mitch rolled his eyes, "He's hurting, Avi. Don't push him to talk about what's wrong. If you do, he won't be happy with you. Scott is shy about his past, he gets nervous about sharing his deep feelings, and if you push him to tell you all about it, the relationship you have with him will change, but not for the better." Mitch assured.
