Stress

Logan sat amidst the piles of papers, running a hand through his hair, stressed. The mix of English papers to be marked and graded and the draft scripts for the next video were overwhelming and it didn't help that Patton kept rushing in and out with useless questions like "Are you okay?" and "Do you want a hug?" He'd been working on the papers for around...he didn't know. But judging by the fact that it was a lot darker than when he started, it must have been a few hours.

"Logan? Are you going to come watch Tangled with us?"

Pat stuck his head around the door, a hopeful smile on his face. Logan lifted his head slightly, not taking his eyes off the red pen covered paper in his hand, muttering to himself.

"Wrong 'their'... I'm sorry Pat but I need to finish these by tomorrow."

"Aww c'mon Lo, it'll stop you stressing out over this stuff."

Logan sighed, moving his glasses to rub his eyes. He sighed heavily, thinking it over. "Maybe you're right, Patton." He stood up, stretching. They made their way to the central area which linked all of the hallways and rooms together where they joined Virgil and Roman. Pat and Logan flopped onto the large sofa, Virgil and Roman on the floor in front.

As Roman sang along to 'I had a dream', Pat glanced over at him, getting ready to ask him to be quiet for Virgil's sake, spotting the look that the anxiety was giving him. Something else caught his eye. "Logan. Give that to me. You're supposed to be having a break." Logic looked up at the father figure who was suddenly standing in front of him, hand out, eyes staring at the English paper that was midway through marking.

Logan hesitantly handed the paper over. "Thank you. I know you're stressed but you need to leave time for yourself." Patton put the paper on his side of the sofa, making sure that the logical side couldn't reach it. They settled back and played the movie again. It didn't take long for Logan to become stressed again, worrying about not finishing his tasks in time.

Patton had an idea. It was known that the best way to calm down Virgil or Pat was to play with their hair. Did it work on Logan too?

Pat casually reached his arm out. As his hand reached Logan's hair, the other flinched, turning to look at Patton, confused. "Pat? What are you doing?" Patton retracted his arm sheepishly. They both paused for a long moment before returning to the movie.

Pat tried again.

This time, Logan didn't flinch as much. Probably due to the fact he was very tired. Pat started playing with Logan's hair as they watched, lightly drawing shapes into the scalp. He played with the curls at the back which sprung back into place. He ran his fingers through the short hair at the back and messed it up before straightening it out again.

As the movie finished, Pat looked over to see Logic asleep, his head resting in Pat's hand and a content look on his face. Morality moved his arm away, worried that he would wake Lo up. Instead, he heard a slight whine as his hand left the other's hair, catching the attention of Virgil and Roman, who spun around. They shared silent 'awww's and slowly, and quietly, got up. They left the room, totally not taking any photos as they went.

Pat didn't want to move because it would wake up his friend. Not even when his arm went dead and started to hurt. Because it was cute and cuteness outweighs pain. However... he needed food. He removed his arm at a speed that was slower than humanly possible, in case he woke Logan up. Which, of course, he did. The intelligent trait yawned, squinting at his blurry surroundings. He picked up his glasses, which had managed to slide down his chest, straightening them as he put them on. "Patton? What are you- Is that the time? I need to finish grading those papers."

To Pat's dismay, Logan jumped up, pulling the previous paper (the one Pat had confiscated from him) from the arm of the sofa and quickly making his way to the door. He stopped and sighed. "But they can wait for another... hour and 48 minutes?" He asked, making a copy of Big Hero 6 materialise in his hand with a smirk. He slowly reversed, putting the disk in the dvd player and sitting back, next to Patton. Pat immediately snuggled up to Lo, earning a smile which was quickly hidden behind a cough.

The papers weren't marked until the morning because they fell asleep again.

Logan panicked.

Virgil laughed.
