ITS NEARLY CHRISTMAS!

Logan and Patton strolled down the street, taking in the shops an christmassy decorations which seemed to be everywhere. Pat smiled at a person who's dog had a Christmas jumper on, before turning his attention to the upcoming toy shop. "Logan, can we go in here?" He asked, turning to Logan, who rearranged the five bags in his hands to make them more comfortable. "If you wish to, of course we can." Lo smiled. Pat was adorable around this time of year, his eyes sparkling at every light and decoration that covered the shops.

Later on, as they reached the end of the street, Pat pointed towards the small group of carolers who were singing 'God rest ye merry gentlemen'. Logan set the bags down and they stood for a few minutes watching the singers. In the middle of 'Jingle bells', Patton spotted another dog. While he was stroking the dog and talking to the owner, Lo whispered something to the main caroler. They nodded and whispered to to the next, who told the next, ect. Patton slowly walked back, giggling and waving to the owner of the dog who probably thought he was flirting.

The singers began the classic '12 days of Christmas'.

12 drummers drumming

11 pipers piping

10 lords a-leaping

9 ladies dancing

8 maids a-milking

7 swans a-swimming

6 geese a-laying

Then, they stopped.

Logan stepped forwards, in front of the singers and turned, addressing the crowd. "I am sorry about the... abrupt ending of the song." A few people began to walk away due to boredom. Pat looked on, confused. Logan took in a shaky breath and continued.

"I know the rhyme usually continues 'five gold rings'... but I only have one."

Logan stepped towards Pat, lowering himself into one knee. Patton watched in awe. Logan lifted the small ring box out of his pocket, opening the lid and revealing the small, golden ring with a large, blue garnet in the centre. Patton, on the verge of tears, stared down in disbelief at Logan.

"Patton... Y-you know that I'm not very good at these... feelings-y things so I'm just going to come out and ask... Patton Morality Sanders, will you marry me..? He looked up nervously to see Pat nodding his head vigorously. He stood to the cheers of the crowd which had now increased in number, taking the ring from the box and sliding it onto his fiancé's finger. Pat pulled him into a deep kiss.

(Just wanted to add a note that I looked up the date of the first appearance of Patton, which was apparently January. The birthstone is a garnet so I wanted to make the stone in the ring a garnet. You could call it procrastination, I call it 'research'.)
