Chapter 11 - We need to talk (Part 1)
Mollie’s POV:
So me Beau, Luke and Jai are having a ‘get to know each other’ day and I have mixed feelings on how this will go.
I mean Beau knows me very well, but I won’t tell the twins much, today at least. It’s up to them what they tell me I suppose.
I walked over to the mirror and began to apply a thin layer of foundation and a little blush. I like thick eyeliner because it makes my eye’s pop so I drew it on how I normally do, flicked at the ends. Mascara is a must and my lipstick was blue. Yeah blue, bright blue, I love it.
I tied my hair up in a simple ponytail, backcombed it, then sprayed it with hairspray.
It didn’t look too bad, if I do say so myself.
I slid in my ear-stretcher which I’ve had for a while but never used, it doesn’t look too painful. I put in my nose ring and the rest. I don’t wear a lot of jewellery except a cross necklace and a locket I found, I’ve had it for ages though and I like it even though its not mine.
I walked over to my closet and picked out my clothes.
After changing my undergarments I threw on a sky blue jumper with “Take us” written in a darker shade of blue and a pair of black, ripped skinny jeans.
I crammed my fags, lighter and phone into my small pocket. I know the boys care but they aren’t taking my fags, not even Gina.
The thing about today is Sunday, which means tomorrow is Monday, which normally means school...
I don’t hate school as per say but I don’t like rules or uniform or the people there.
I have been permanently excluded more times than you could imagine, even since I was small.
I’m rude and I stand up for myself. I ended up home-schooled and I didn’t learn much but it was better than school.
Gina hasn’t said anything about school yet though, so I should be ok.
I checked myself in the mirror one more time and went to make myself some breakfast, more like lunch though.
Beau’s POV:
I woke up to find Mollie gone, I would be lying if I said I wasn’t worried.
I jumped out of bed and put on a, more than likely, dirty shirt before sprinting out the room.
I ran into Luke, literally knocking him to the floor.
“Hey, have you seen Mollie?” I spoke fast and I’m pretty sure he noticed the urgency in my voice.
He placed his hand on my shoulder.
“Hey Beau, no need to worry, me and Jai have both sorted things with her, sort of and I told her we were having a ‘get to know each other’ day. She went upstairs to get ready, there was a small bit of trouble this morning to with a particular ‘habit’ I’m sure you know about but I sorted it.” He replied so calmly.
At his words I loosened a little.
“Ok, and yeah her smoking? I don’t want to hear about it right now, you know how I feel about it...Does she know about the school?”
“Not yet, I don’t think, Mum’s going to tell her later. I don’t think she’ll re-act well to be honest,”
“Me either,” I agreed knowing more than Luke about her situation.
