Chapter 21 - Funeral and Home Alone with Daniel part 2

Luke's POV: 

I sat one side of Mollie in the car on the journey home, Jai the otherside, no one had anything to say. 

Mollie slept the whole way through, not moving, barely breathing, the atmosphere was seemingly non-existent.

Eventually we were home, everybody sat still in the car, not wanting to move. 

Mum turned the radio off and turned to look at us all, she smiled weakly 

"Boys, I am very proud of how you've helped today, bless her soul, Robin meant a lot to Mollie and I doubt she'll tell you but Mollie is undoubtedly very thankful of you all for being so supportive, I have to do a night shift this evening, so I won't be home, please just take care of yourselves and each other, ok?" 

We all nodded, not finding words to say, then Beau piped up

"Urm...I actually need to go somewhere this evening so it will just be you's," He mumbled hesitantly.

Mum simply nodded and I watched Jai shift awkwardly

"Yeah, urm, about that, I had planned to go to James' for a few hours this evening, I thought it would be good to give Mollie some space, so Luke, it will just be you," 

I wasn't going to kick up a fuss, sure I was kind of annoyed everyone was going out and leaving Mollie with just me, but we got on well and I could take care of us both.

"Yeah, that's fine, I'm not fussed, I'll invite Daniel over or something," I said before opening the car door.

Everyone stepped out and I unstrapped Mollie's belt and picked her up bridal style.

I carried her inside and laid her on the sofa, covering her with a blanket before leaving to say goodbye to everyone else.

Daniel's POV: 

I sat down lazily on my bed, I hadn't done anything today, except play FIFA, no one was home and I was just wondering around.

I heard my phone ring

"Fuck!" 

I jumped off the bed, running round frantically trying to find it.

When I eventually got it, I picked it up immediately and let out a very out of breath "Hello?" 

*Phone Call*

Luke - "Hey man, how's it going?"
