"RICHIE!"

I screeched as my sobs became harder.

His hand brushed my back lightly.

His body regained its warm feeling as he kissed me.

"I thought you were a goner."

"I did too up until right now."

He smiled softly as we hugged once more.

Our relationship came flashing before my eyes.

I couldn't believe how far I've come as a person because of meeting them.

But to be even better, I need to leave them.

This all has happened because of me.

Because of my stupid mom choosing to move to Derry.

I made the choice right then and there to cut the fuse.

I let go of Richie.

In order to make them happier in the long run, I needed to ignore them completely.

He was confused.

I got up and began to walk away.

"Sarah?"

No answer.

"What the hell? I almost just died! This is all I get?!"

I could feel his anger on me. He kicked the dirt and walked off in the opposite direction.

This was the right thing to do.

I could hear the noises behind me grow fainter and fainter.

I didn't know where I was. Where I was going.

Just not Derry.

Not now.

I ended up at a diner.

I shrugged and walked in.

There was no one inside it.

Except for a woman working the counter.

I hopped up onto the seat and looked around.

This place had eerie vibe to it.

I was a little unsettled.

The woman turned around.

She was old, and had a lot of make up on.

"Hey there sweet cheeks! What can I getcha?"

"Uh-A milkshake please."

She nodded and slid one down on the counter in front of me.

Except, when it came to me, it fell off the counter and onto my clothes.

I got up and grabbed a napkin to wipe it off.

"Damnit!"

"Oh, I'm sorry dear."
The voice became lower.

The coldness of the milkshake became burning hot.

I flinched and wiped faster as it burned through my clothes.

The woman began to laugh.

I was forced to take off my shirt, or else I would be burned too.

I grabbed my sweater and put it on, beginning to run for the door.

It closed and locked itself.

I turned around.

"W҉A҉N҉N҉A҉ B҉A҉L҉L҉O҉O҉N҉?"

I screeched and grabbed the door handle, but there was none.

I was back in Derry.

Back where Richie had stormed away from me.

His hand became a claw as he let go of his balloon.

I began to cry and got up, but he grabbed my leg and pulled me onto the floor.

I cried and fought back as he pulled me down to the sewers.
