My groggy eyes open up as I felt the warmth that was once behind me, now suddenly gone. The ends of my lips etched up into a small smile as I got more comfortable in bed. A familiar scent engulfed my nose and my eyes opened immediately. Hunter. I sit up quickly and look around the room to realize he was no where. I let out a sigh of relief, thank god he wasn't here.

I spoke too soon when one of the doors opened up to reveal Hunter. His bottom half was covered with a towel and it took every ounce of strength I have to keep my eyes from staring. Right now as not the time to drool over a perfectly chiseled body made from the heavens that closely resembled the men in Teen Wolf.

"Good, you're awake." He said while rubbing his hair with a towel. The action was so simple yet made my body heat up.

I debated on whether or not I should argue with him again about me leaving but decided not to. I had to be smart about this. "Why?" I simply asked. I hope he couldn't see the gears turning in my head. Hunter had the odds in his favor unless I did something.

"Because today, I will announce you as the new Luna of this pack." A nonchalant reply escapes his lips without giving me any more information. His back turns to me as he walks over to the closet.

No, no, no, no! This can't happen. I can't be his new Luna. This was moving way too fast. So what if we kissed and I so happen to just sleep over for a night? It was all a part of my elaborate plan to hopefully leave. However, I'd be lying to myself if I said that kiss didn't make my toes curl and my body tingle.

It seemed that the rational part of my brain decided to come through after a good night's sleep when the following words flow out of my mouth, "When?" I didn't want him to think I was planning anything. With how last night went down, I don't think he notices anything. Hopefully the ceremony was later at night. I didn't even know what you do at a ceremony.

"Later tonight. I'm busy for today so I'll be leaving Darren to watch over you." Hunter walks out of the closet with black slacks on and a white shirt that was loosely tucked and unbuttoned at the top. Where does he think he's going looking like that?

Inner jealousy fired within me but I quickly put it out. Now was not the time.

"What? Why?" I said as I crossed my arms over my chest. I tried to hide irritation in my voice but it was no use.

"Because," Hunter drawls out,  "I'm not taking any chances for you to run away. Considering yesterday, you tried to run out." He glared at me for a second before it was replaced with something else I couldn't pinpoint.

"Ugh fine." I decided that I could act like a pouty brat who had no other choice. When in reality, I had every choice to make. I wanted to leave.

Everything in me told me to make sure this plan worked out perfectly. My mind chastised me for being so stupid to run into this pack. Of course I had to go against my brother and go with Anna. What was I thinking?

My plan sets in motion as I turn on the shower, making Hunter think I was going to be in here for a bit. My ears were placed on the door, although I could hear anything from miles away if I wanted to. The bedroom door makes a sound as it closes and I sigh in relief. He's gone for now. I focused my ears around the house, mainly on Hunter's footsteps. It was easy enough since my wolf just wanted to primarily focus on him. The front doors open and close and when I couldn't hear him anymore, I turn off the shower immediately.

I exit the bathroom and went into the bedroom. I slowly opened the doors and tip toed out into the hallway. I heard the TV blaring in the living from from downstairs and used my nose to sniff out any one else lingering. All I could smell was Darren. Good.
