~Taylor's POV~
I felt a little awkward when I was left alone with Nash. I just stood there cooking dinner. I could feel him staring at me and it felt weird.
"Taylor. Do you mind making some meat as well."
"Of course mama Grier. Anything for you."
"Best kid ever."
I smiled and started placing the meat on the grill. Nash gave me an angry look. I felt Sky run in between my legs as she giggled.
"Hey Skylynn do me a favor and don't run around here I don't want you to get burned. Okay."
"Okay Uncle Taylor."
"Sky!" I heard Nash yell but she didn't move.
"Uncle Taylor." She said wiggling a finger in my face.
I bent down to hear her closer.
"I don't want to go to Nash. He's kinda rude now."
"Its fine. Just go have some fun its your day don't let anyone ruin it. Now go." I said as she ran away.
I looked at the corner of my eye and he was gone. Out of the blue. Just like the party we had at my house.
"Um excuse me." Said a random girl.
"Yeah?"
"I was wondering if I could take a hot dog now so I can feed it to my baby?"
"Of course. Taylor."
"Lexi. I'm Cameron's fiancé."
"Acacia's boyfriend. Also known as Uncle Taylor."
~Cameron's POV~
"I really need to ask you a question." I told Acacia.
"What?"
"Why did you leave me? You left me for Nash then you left him for that one kid."
"That one kid happens to be my boyfriend. And you weren't the guy for me."
"I wasn't? Do you remember what you told me your freshman year?"
"That I will always love you through thick and thin. That I never wanted to let you out of my life. Yeah I remember." She said.
"So why didn't you keep that promise to me?"
"Because at the time-"
"She loved Nash!" Hayes butted in.
She nodded her head in agreement.
"I still love you."
"Camer-"
"Let me speak. I kept my promise to always love you and that I will always be there for you. But what I don't get is why don't you love me? I go everyday thinking about you. Not one day have you never been in my head. Its been years and I always dream about your smile, laugh, eyes, you."
"Cameron look- Hey we're here. Hayes come on." She said dodging my speech.
The two of them got out and I followed. I caught up and continued talking.
"Acacia you can't dodge my feelings for you. They aren't going to change. Just understand that."
"Cameron I get that but my feels aren't the same. They've changed and us. We can't be anything more than friends. And I don't mind if we're friends but please just understand we, me and you, we aren't going to end up dating again. Okay. And I would love to be with you but that's the old me."
"I don't want to be with you. I want us to be on the same page. I'm not going to leave my fiancé or my son. I just want you to know how I feel." I told her.
"So-son?"
"Yeah."
"Grier." I heard Hayes say.
"The baby. He's yours?"
"Been mine for almost a year."
"What's his name?" She asked.
"Aaron. Aaron Nash Dallas."
"Aaron? The name we chose if we were to have a baby together?"
"I named him after that yes. It will always remind me of you."
"And your fiancé. Her name is? Here you go." She said as she handed the money to the cashier.
"Lexi."
"Lexi. She's the pretty one."
"Yes."
"Hayes do you want anything else? For yourself?"
"Hell yeah! See this is why I love you." He said as he kissed her cheek.
"I just want us to be friends? Will it ever work like that?"
"We can try. And to be honest I really want to hold your baby. He looks so adorable."
"Can't resist?"
"No."
I laughed a bit and we walked back to the car. Hayes sat in the back and we all talked about other things. When we got back Mrs. Grier was so glad and the house was more full than when we left. I watched Acacia walk back into the back yard and kiss her boyfriend.
"Hey Lexi." I said kissing her cheek.
"How'd it go?"
"Fine. Yours?"
"He's really nice. I think we should go to lunch or maybe dinner with them."
"We should come on. Let's go the them." I said as I took Aaron Nash into my arms.
"Hi. I'm Cameron."
"I know who you are. I'm Taylor."
"Look what happened in high school is long gone. Get over it?" I said.
"Why not?"
"Acacia you said you wanted to hold Aaron Nash." I said handing him over to her.
"He's so cute. Babe look at how cute he is. Oh my gosh I want a baby so bad."
"We'll start tonight." He said winking at her.
I couldn't help but laugh. Then they joined in. I felt someone staring at me and I saw Nash looking at us. I kind of brushed it off and continued to talk to Acacia and her boyfriend. Turns out they're pretty cool.

{I want to say before the next chapter that I'm so glad that many of you have stayed with me through the whole last book and the start of the new one. You honestly don't know how greatful I am for each and every one of you. I may seem like a bitch in some of my comments and I'm sorry if I do. I don't mean to I just get fed up sometimes. But I love all of you guys and I'm glad many of you have sticked through it with me. But one thing I'm asking for is to quit criticizing my every little mistake (happened a lot in the first book). Please and when I say no please don't comment 'Or Nah' it gets kinda annoying. But other than that if you have nothing nice to say about my chapter then don't say anything at all. I'm tired of the hate and you guys don't need it either. Just follow this through out please that's all I'm asking.}
