~Nash's POV~
I saw Acacia and Cameron talking again and the worst was their other half was talking to them too. I mean I want to talk to her but not that desperately. Cameron is like a little puppy. When he sees her he runs after her. One fucked up thing is that my own family is ignoring me. My mom is more interested in the kids and Taylor and so is Skylynn. Hayes is just following Acacia. You would think a seventeen year old wouldn't be so clingy. I watched as they all laughed and smiled. I was pissed off.
"Nash is that you?" I heard a voice from behind me.
"Huh?" I turned to see my aunt walking up to me.
"Little Nash."
"Oh hi aunt Jen. How are you?"
"Fine yourself?"
"Eh."
"Why eh?"
"See that girl holding the baby?"
"I see her." She said looking a bit closer.
"She's one of my old girlfriends. And the guy straight across from her is one of her ex boyfriends and my best friend. She screwed us over. And the guy next to her on her left is her current boyfriend. See the problem is I can't get over her. Its been 3 years since we broke up and I don't know if she feels the same way. But I don't want to sound so needy. I just... I don't know."
"Nash? Honey listen. If you can't get over her you need to talk to her. I think it would be good. Plus you will never know unless you try. Everyone deserves answers. And yours is standing right in front of you. And if she doesn't feel the same well how do I say this... Fuck her!" My aunt Jen said.
"You're too funny. I'm a coward to just go straight to her."
"Just go. You'll be fine." She said as she pushed me towards them.
I walked up to them and then Acacia and Lexi left. Leaving me there with Cameron, Hayes, and Taylor. I walked away and back to aunt Jen.
"Did I mention I don't like Taylor?"
"Quit being a pussy. When she comes back go talk to her."
"So encouraging."
"Nash I've known you your whole life. I saw the way your face turned red every time a cute girl would walk by. But as soon as you started talking to that girl the redness went away. You were being yourself and being yourself is the best thing you could do. So when she comes back go and show her what she fell in love with before."
"Alright."
"Now go be a gentleman and go talk to your friends."
I nodded my head and walked back to Cameron. We talked about his conversation with Acacia in the car and how they were getting along so well. I was always the one feeling stupid in the end. If Cameron could get to Acacia that easy how hard would it he for me to get to talk to her?
~Acacia's POV~
I walked with Lexi to the living room to take a seat. She was pretty, tall brown hair, brown eyes, had a pretty smile and she was just perfect. We sat on the couch as I slowly patted Aaron Nash's back to help him take a nap.
"I've never seen him so comfortable with a stranger before."
"Really. He's just so calm and quiet."
"Can I ask you something?" She said so serious.
"Yeah. Anything."
"Its about Cameron."
"Have a go at it."
"I know the two of you guys dated back in high school and the two of you were inseparable. He talks about you all the time and I've always wanted to meet you. Now here I am. And the question is was Cameron clingy to you? Because he is with me and I don't know if its him or if he's just doing it with me."
"Its him. He did that with me too. I mean I got some space but most of the time he would just want to be with me. I had to force him to go with friends."
"Really? I do the same thing! But if you don't mind can I ask what happened between you two?"
"I don't mind. Okay so we were in love for my freshman and sophomore year. We literally did everything together. But when Nash came back in my life I couldn't hold my feelings back. We broke up once because he cheated on me then I 'did' the same to him. We broke up when I caught him cheating again and I ended up dating Nash. Well Nash and Cameron got in this HUGE fight and Cameron started to text me Nash thought something was going on and he broke up with me. So I went back to Cameron then we broke up because I realized I couldn't be without Nash. Then I found out Nash fucked another girl so we broke up and I went to a party with Taylor and then I ended up dating Taylor. We talked maybe once after and never since until today."
"Oh my. All that in just four years?"
"Two."
"He never told me half of that. He said break up make up but never the reasons. What if he does the same to me?"
"Lexi don't worry about it. He promised me he changed and he kept the promise. I told him he would never do that to another girl. Cameron can change. I know he will and he has. The way he talked about you in the car was like buying a new puppy. He's so in love with you."
"Really?"
"Yes. He told me he's so glad he met you and to be honest I am too. You're everything he looks for in a girl. He just loves your family so much. And by the way Congradulations on the engagement. You two are going to last for a long time." I told her while shifting Aaron Nash.
"Your are exactly what he described. Did you know Nash isn't over you? He talks about you honestly a lot. I don't know why but he does. I think he's a bit obsessed."
I couldn't help but laugh and she joined in on it. I heard footsteps and I turned around to see Cameron and Hayes walking in. Cameron sat with Lexi and Hayes next to me.
"Where's Taylor?"
"Cooking still." said Hayes.
"What were the two of you talking about?" Asked Cameron.
"Nothing." Lexi answered.
She smiled and in the back of my head I knew she was a keeper not just for Cameron but for me too.
