Chapter 18: Emotional Rollercoaster

~Cameron's POV~

I was glad Lexi and I were together again. It felt good to actually know she forgave me. I saw Taylor carefully hugging Acacia. He was kissing her forehead. I heard her crying and then realized Lexi was too. I lifted her head and pushed her hair aside. I looked her deep in the eyes and rubbed her cheek carefully. I kissed her lips before pulling away.

"I'm so sorry Lexi. You know you mean more to me than anyone else. I never meant to hurt you the way I did. You know when I drink I do stupid things. And that's one thing I will always regret doing."

"It wasn't just your fault Cam. It was mine too. I should have never went home with Taylor. I mean I was being stupid too. I never thought we would ever go through this. I love you more than anything besides Aaron Nash. We're not perfect nor will we ever be. But I don't care. As long as I'm with you I don't care what we go through."

"Lexi. Your perfect to me. You don't see it but I do. I always do. But there's one thing that's bugging me."

"What is it?" She asked with a scared look on her face.

"Will you re-marry?"

"Of course. But on one condition."

"Anything for you."

"I don't want you to cheat on me ever again."

"I promise I won't." I told her as I looked into her glossy eyes. "Can I have Aaron Nash now?"

She picked him up out of his car seat and handed him over to me. The second I held him I knew everything was back to the way it was. I kissed his cheek and he looked at me smiling. I couldn't help but shed a few tears while looking at him.

~Acacia's POV~

We all ate our dinner and said our goodbyes to each other. I kissed Taylor goodnight and told him I'd see him in the morning. I waited until Skylynn was in the car before leaving the parking lot. She looked out the window and I realised she was sleeping.

I turned the radio off and sat there thinking. I never intended for things to get so bad. But thank goodness things went back together. A least a bit. I drove to Mama Grier's and slighty shaked Skylynn awake. She didn't bulge. I got out and opened the passengers door.

I unbuckled her and picked her up along with her things. Making sure not to trip, I took her to the door. Hayes opened it up and let me in. Walking up the stairs I dropped her off in her bed. I walked back down.

"Hayes! I'm leaving!" I called from the front door.

"Alright! Bye Caci!"

"Bye Haasss! Love ya!"

"Love you too! See you tomorrow!" He yelled back from the kitchen.

"Okay!" I said as I walked out the door.

I shut it behind me. I got in my car and drove off. I drove to the house and when I walked in Jc and Kian were still there. They gave me a confused look.

"What?" I asked.

"Your back." Kian said.

"Why wouldn't I be? I live here."

"Kian thought because you went to go talk to your ex he expected you to go home and not come back." Jc told me.

"Just because I went to talk to Taylor doesn't mean he's forgiven me for everything. Plus I'm going back home tomorrow."

"We liked your company though." Jack J said while giving me the puppy dog eyes.

"I liked being here to but I miss Taylor and being in Aaron's room."

"I understand." Jack G said.

"Who's Aaron?" Jc and Kian asked.

"No one."

"Acacia. They should know."

"Jack! No. I don't want to talk about it." I told my cousin.

"Acacia. You never told Jc about him?"

"About who?" Jc asked.

"No. I don't want to tell anyone. It's still early and I don't want to ruin my day by crying."

"Its early? It's never going to be easy to tell people about him. But you need to. Its never going to be easy talking about it. I think they should know."

"I don't. He was apart of me and I dont believe he needs to be brought up right now."

"Who's Aaron?" Jc asked again.

"I don't want to talk about it. It's not the place and time."

"I get that. But I have to agree with Jack. You should tell them." Jack J said.

"Jack. Jacks. I love the both of you guys but it's not the right time."

"If you don't want to tell us we understand. Don't do anything you dont want to." Kian said.

"Thank you!" I told him.

I walked up the stairs and shut the door behind me. I got out my phone and called Taylor. Ring! Ring! Ring! Right away Taylor answered.

"Hello?"

"Taylor?"

"Yeah?"

"I need someone to talk to. Jack was trying to get me to talk about Aaron. I just don't feel lioe talking about it. It brings up to many memories."

Taylor stayed on the phone with me for hours. I cried over everything that happened and he stayed listening to me. Finally we said goodnight once again and I hung up. There was a knock on the door but I didn't answer. There it was again.

"I don't want to talk about it. Please just leave me alone."

Knock. Knock. Knock.

I got up off the bed and opened the door. In front of me stood my cousin. Jack was standing there waiting. He held a box in his hands.

"Come in."

He walked in and sat on the bed waiting for me to do the same. Once I sat down he handed the box to me.

"What's this for?" I asked.

"Open it."

I did what he asked and opened the box. There was a small bracelet inside. I picked it up and looked at the writing. Aaron. Uncle Jack Loves You. Tears welded up in my eyes. I hugged him as tight as I could.

"I had it made especially for him. I want it to go in his room. I want him to know that even though hes not here that I still love him. And I'm sorry for trying to pressure you in telling the boys about him. I understand why you don't want to talk about it." Jack said.

"It's fine. I think about him everyday. I've never loved someone so much. I just wish he was here."

"Acacia he loves you. No doubt. And I think its best if you go back home with Taylor. He needs you and the both of you can go through it together."

"I will. We talked and we're willing to let things go for his sake."

"Good. And let me be honest. Taylor loves you he does. And you deserve no one else but him."

"Thanks Jack."

"Anytime."
