Chapter 24: Fixing Things

~Nash's POV~

I watched as Taylor took Acacia by the hand and dragged her out of the room. She looked back at me one last time. She kissed me this time. I actually had a chance with her. Maybe more than ever. I heard them talking downstairs. I decided to stay inside my room.

Then I heard cheering and thank you's. I pushed it behind me and laid down. Acacia being pregnant wasn't what I was expecting. I never saw her being pregnant by any other guy but me. My phone rang and I picked it up.

"Hello?"

"Hey Nash!"

"Hey Will."

"Is Mama home?"

"Yeah. She's downstairs. Is something wrong?"

"No. She just didn't answer my call."

"Well she has some company over." I told him.

"Ohhhhh. Alright. Can you tell her I called?"

"Sure. Wait Will."

"What?" He asked.

"I need some of your advice."

"Hit me."

"Okay. Well Acacia is more attractive than ever. And these feelings aren't going away."

"Wait! I thought yoy were over her. She is in a relationship for over four years."

"Yeah. And she's pregnant."

"Nash listen to me closely."

"Okay." I told him a bit irritated.

"GET. THE. FUCK. OVER. HER! SHE. HAS. A. BOYFRIEND. AND. KID. ON. THE. WAY! Time to move on."

"Kids."

"What?" He asked confused.

"She has kids on the way. And I can't get over her."

"Yes you can. Stop seeing her."

"She's always here." I said.

"Then find a place to live other than Mama's."

"I can't leave Mama. It's only her and Sky."

"What about Hayes?" Will asked through the phone.

"Mama kicked him out."

"Why?"

"He was caught smoking in the house and had friends over with out asking. Then she found him doing some random girl. In her room."

"Damn. He's slipping."

"Tell me about it."

"Hey. I gotta go. Don't forget to tell Mama I called."

"Alright. Thanks again and bye."

"Bye." He said hanging up the phone.

I dropped my phone and thought about what Will had told me. Maybe he was right. I should give up on Acacia. I mean I already have Carli. She's amazing. I didn't want to break what we had.

~Cameron's POV~

I couldn't believe Acacia and Taylor asked us to be the twins Godparents. It was an honor especially after all the shit we went through. When Taylor and I went to the other room, I thought he was going to kick my ass. I never thought he would apologize.

Taylor then invited us to stay with them for the rest of our trip. I agreed and told Lexi who was excited. We all needed to work things out and this would be perfect. I walked to the guest room of Mrs. Grier's house and started packing. Lexi finally coming in to help.

"Are you okay with this?" I asked Lexi as she walked in.

"I'm fine. Are you?"

"Yeah. At least we'll get to work things out."

"I hope. Can you do me a favor?" Lexi asked.

"What?"

"Stay away from Acacia."

"What do you mean?"

"Don't do anything with her."

"Nothing will happen."

"Cross your heart and hope to die?"

"Cross my heart and hope to die." I assured her.

"Okay." She told me as she kissed me on the lips.

I wrapped my arms around her waist and kissed her back. We stayed like this for a few seconds longee before continuing to packing.

~Taylor's POV~

"Promise me he'll be okay?" Mama Grier asked.

"We promise." I told her.

"I just. He's getting out of hand."

"We already told him the rules and he's not allowed to break any of them."

"Thank you Taylor."

"No problem."

I walked to the fridge and grabbed a water out and drank it. I sat back down and saw Acacia playing with Aaron Nash. She was meant to be a mom. More than anyone. I took my phone and took a picture of her. We were letting Cameron and Lexi stay with us for a bit since Mama Grier needed her space.

Acacia got up and started walking to me with Aaron in her arms. She smiled and tilted her head to the backyard. I followed her out to the mini playground. She put Aaron on the swing and softly pushed him.

"We need to talk about something."

"What?" I asked.

"Promise me you won't get mad?"

"Acacia. I hate when you do this. Just tell me."

"Promise?!"

"I promise you."

"Nash and I kissed." She said avoiding eye contact.

"I know. I saw."

"How?"

"I walked in when he leaned in and kissed you. I also heard when you said you have feelings for him but you weren't going to let it interfer with our relationship."

"Oh."

"Promise you won't let it."

"It won't. I swear and by the way Nash is just another ex. He means nothing to me anymore."

"Good." I said walking to her.

I wrapped my arms around her waist and kissed her cheek. She was going to make a great mom. Aaron Nash kept laughing which made me laugh. I couldn't wait for my kids to be here. An hour and a half later we were on the road back home.

We helped Cameron and Lexi move their things to the guest house behind ours. After we all finished we ordered Papa John's Pizza. We all agreed on a movie and sat down on the couches. Tonight was going to be a good night.
