Finn
I knew I wanted to find a way to tell Max how I felt about her, but it was getting a little difficult with her dad now being our new coach. We had to make up for lost time with all the bad coaching from our old coach. This meant longer practices and more focus. I didn't even notice Max wasn't in the stands anymore since I was trying to concentrate on the plays. Levi, on the other hand, had become one of the best players, which was surprising because he was one of the worst players on the team, hence why he always rode the bench.
As we practice, the girls were practicing their routines while Max's brothers came to watch practice.
"Man, that Levi is looking good," Jackson grinned.
Sophia and Emma were taking a break and getting some water when Emma said, "You mean Max, don't you?"
"What? That isn't Max," Ethan said, feigning stupidity.
"Give it up boys. We already know," Sophia smirked at them.
"Wait, how did you find out," Jackson asked.
"It's not hard when you catch your best friend in the girl's locker room, changing out of a football uniform," Emma said with an eye roll.
They looked at the girls as Sophia added, "Now, that's clarified, have you idiots decided how to help Finn with his problem?"
"We're working on it," Aiden shot back.
"Because it really doesn't seem like you are doing a great job at it," Emma snapped.
"What you do, you suggest, oh, snarky one," Ethan asked her.
"I suggest shoving them into a closet, locking it, and not letting them out until they become a couple," Emma said to him.
"Yeah, and our dad will never let that happen," said Jackson. "Trust me, we already offered up handcuffs."
"Well, homecoming is coming up," Sophia suggested.
"Yeah, so," Aiden asked.
She rolled her eyes at him, "So, they go to homecoming, kiss and live happily ever after," she said flailing her arms around.
"That might actually work if we could get Finn to actually make a move," Ethan said.
"Oh, it will work all right. Even if we have to tie them together," Jackson added.

Max
We were practicing a play when I looked to see Sophia and Emma talking to my brothers. Oh, dear God, please let them not have an interest in my brothers. Don't get me wrong, they are my best friends, but that would be just gross.Due to my distraction, I wasn't paying attention and got hit, hard. I flew up into the air and landed on my back. Ouch, that's going to hurt in the morning.
Someone reached out a hand, "Are you okay, Levi?"
I reached up and took their hands and said in the lowest voice possible, "Uh, yeah." Luke helped me up off the ground. "Damn, you lose weight or something?"
"Just trying to stay nimble, yo," I said, giving him a punch in the shoulder and running off.
"Yo?" Marcus walked over and Luke looked at him.
"What?"
"When did Levi start saying yo?" Luke asked.
"How should I know?" He shrugged. Luke shook his head and got back into formation.
Rule number one, if you're going to imitate someone, at least act like them. Otherwise, you're going to get sacked on the field.
We finished up practice and made our way to the locker room. I waited until everyone was inside and snuck over to the girl's locker room. The only problem was the cheer team was already inside, shit.
