I sat in bed and we all watched as our dad, slowly walked towards Ethan, who was backing up against the wall. Aiden and Jackson got out of his way.

"Now, dad, I know this is a shock. I mean it was a shock for me too, but at least, it's not the girl you don't like," Ethan said nonchalantly.

Dad put his hands on his hips and looked at Ethan, "How long?"

"How long have I've been gay? Oh, well, I'm not really sure," he shrugged.

"No, you ninny, how long have you been sleeping with one of my players," he asked him with irritation.

"Oh, that, well, let's see," he said, tapping his finger to his mouth, thinking how long, he had been seeing Luke. "About a month, given or take," he shrugged.

Dad rubbed his forehead and sighed, "Ethan, he's seventeen for Christ sake. His parents will flip when they find out."

"Actually, they already know," Luke interjected. Dad turned around and looked at him.

"And? What did they say?"

"Well, they said, if it was one of Max's brothers then they were fine with it. They know Max will keep me in line. Then Mom added that she thought they were all hot, which was disturbing. Then I sort of zoned out after that," he shrugged.

Dad rubbed his forehead, then looked at Jackson and Aiden, "Please tell me you two are not dating someone from my team."

"What? No, I have Avery," Aiden said defensively.

"Jackson?"

"Nope, it's no one from, the team," he said. Dad let out a deep breath, "I'm actually dating someone from the cheer team," Jackson grinned.

"Can't you boys meet people other than the people your sister goes to school with," he asked them, rubbing his palms over his face.

"We could, but what fun would that be," Ethan asked him casually while grinning.

All this talk was giving me a headache. I didn't even want to know who Jackson was dating. All I wanted to do was go home.

Max seemed agitated by her brothers. I can see where she's coming from. It would be like one of the guys dating my sister. She's ten so that is never going to happen.

Eventually, they all left but I stayed. I think she was relieved when they all cleared out.

"I can't believe Megan did this? Does she hate me that much?" She asked me.

"Megan is a spiteful bitch, who has done nothing, but put people down so, she can feel better about herself. The fact is, Max you're everything she's not," I reassured her.

"I just feel like a failure. I mean, I'm not girly. I don't dress up. I play sports. Most girls grow out of the tomboy phase, but I remained in it," she sniffled.

"Hey, looked, at me." She turned and faced me. "I love you just the way you are. Yes, you're a tomboy but you're smart, funny, athletic, and beautiful."

A smile curled upon her lips, "You think I'm beautiful?"

I gave her a look, "Out of all that, you pick beautiful?"

"Well, duh, all girls want to be considered beautiful. Even tomboys," she smirked and I chuckled. I leaned over and gave her a kiss.

"I can't believe Ethan is really gay," I said to her.

"I still can't believe Luke, Marcus, and Levi are. Am I that oblivious to things," she asked me.

"Yeah, pretty much," I said. She hauled off and smacked me. "Come on, you didn't know I was in love with you all these years," I said emphatically.
