Max
After returning from our trip, we got bombarded by our friends. Apparently, going out of town without them was a big no."You guys act like we were gone forever," I said, placing my bags down in my room.
"It seems like it," Sophia groaned. I gave her a look and shook my head.
"By the way, where is Finn? He's usually stuck to you like glue," Luke asked me.
"He went to drop his stuff off at home and check in with his parents," I replied.
"How was the trip?" Emma asked.
"It was fun," I said casually.
"So, why don't you seem happy," Marcus asked me.
"Who says I'm not happy?"
"Max, come on, we know when you're happy and you definitely don't seem happy," Sophia added.
I sat down on my bed, "Finn is afraid I'm going to break up with him."
"What? Why?" The girls exclaimed.
"Because of us not having sex yet," I winced.
"Oh hell no! I have waited for so long for the two of you to finally get together for him to be all insecure and shit," Emma exclaimed as she stormed out of the door.
"Where are you going?" I yelled after her.
"To beat some sense into that doofus, you call a boyfriend!"
We all looked at each other, then raced out of my room.

Finn
I put my bags in my room and caught up with my folks before heading back over to Max's. I told them all about the trip. They also handed me an envelope from the University of Michigan. I opened it to find out not only had I been accepted, but had a football scholarship.I definitely had to tell Max about this. I got up to leave. As soon as I opened the door, I got to meet with a fist in my face. I stumbled back as someone yelled, "Shit! That hurt!"
I grabbed my jaw and looked up, "Emma? What the hell?"
"Look, Huckleberry, if you think we are going to let you and Max break up, then you're sadly mistaken!" She yelled at me.
"Break up? What are you talking about?" I was so confused.
"Max told us, you're worried she was going to walk away from you," she said emphatically.
I stared at her.
"First of all, that is never going to happen. Max loves you too much for it to happen."
"Yeah, I know."
"You do?" She looked at me with confusion.
"Yeah, we talked about it," I assured her.
"Oh, then why doesn't she seem happy?"
"What are you talking about?"
Before Emma had a chance to answer, the others showed up out of breath. I looked at Max, "Emma says you're not happy. Is that true?"
"What? No," she exclaimed.
"Are you sure? Because I don't appreciate getting punched," I said with a look as I continued to rub my jaw.
