Max
We managed to make it through finals, barely. Finn and I were too busy catching up on lost time, so studying was becoming impossible. I wasn't complaining. Apparently, once you do the deed, you sort of want to do it all the time. At least, we did, but we did manage some self-control.

Especially since it's really hard to do anything in our houses with our families constantly around. That's okay because soon we will be off to college and will get plenty of time to be alone.

Ethan and Luke did work out their problems and decided to continue taking things slow. Especially, with the fact, Luke is going to U of M in the fall, things were going to be a little hard but we'll manage.

Surprisingly, Davis and Sophia really hit it off at Prom and started dating. We also found out Davis is going to State with us while Levi is going to U of M, lucky dogs.

As for graduation, we all were able to graduate, considering all the issues we dealt with. I really hope college is nothing like high school was.

Before graduation, we had a banquet where they handed out awards and we got to eat. Food is life.

"How can you eat so much and still be so skinny? I just look at food and gain like five pounds," Sophia griped.

"Because I play sports," I said in between bites with a shrug.

"Now, if we could just get you out of those stupid clown shoes," Emma retorted.

I took my foot and threw it onto the table, causing Finn and the guys to laugh, "They aren't clown shoes. They are Converse and I happen to love them." I removed my foot and went back to eating.

"Well, well, well, look what we have here," we heard someone say.

We all looked up to see Megan standing there.

"How are you even here? I thought you got suspended?" Sophia asked.

"It helps when your dad knows people," she smirked.

"Or when you spread your legs like you, do you with your lies," Emma snickered, causing us to snicker.

"At least, I'm not a cheap slut like you. Jackson Falls, really?" She snapped back.

I slammed my hands on the table and stood up, "Megan, enough!"

"What are you going to do?"

"I will beat the shit out of you once and I will do it again."

"I'd like to see you try, then you won't be able to graduate, then goodbye scholarship and State," she threatened. She was right. The minute I hit her, I could kiss my future goodbye and she knew it. I shot her a glare. "Ooh, did I touch a nerve?"

Then something unexpected happened, everyone stood up and walked towards us, circling us.

"Megan, you're just a spiteful bitch," someone yelled.

"Get a life you loser," another yelled.

"No one likes you," a different girl yelled.

Her smirked promptly left her face and was replaced with a frown.

"All these years of taunting people and belittling them has finally come to a head. Here's the thing you don't understand, people don't like a bully and that's exactly what you are, a bully," I told her.

"This isn't over," she snapped.

"It's over. You hit me with a baseball bat and tried to kill me. All because Finn rejected you? That's pathetic," I said simply.

She stared at me as her fist clenched. Let's see, how far I could push her buttons?

"You're nothing, but a lying, cheap, skanky, snake in the grass that has to cheat her way through everything. Hell, you're not even pretty, which is really sad," I shook my head.

That did it. She raised her hand and pulled back, letting it fly only to be caught by someone.

"Don't," someone said. We turned and looked at Finn, who was holding her fist. "Don't even think about it."

He let go of her fist, harshly.

"You don't get it. No one wants you to be here. We're sick and tired of your crap. We've been tired of it for a long time. Megan, the truth is, none of us like you. We barely tolerate you. So, now it's our turn. Take your cheap ass threats somewhere else because you're not welcome anymore," he told her.

She looked at him, then at everyone. They all nodded in agreement. Then a couple of teachers walked over and escorted her out.

That was the thing about all of us, we were tired of the ignorance of it all.

I was so done with Megan and her crap. It was bad enough we had to put up with it, all these years but not on graduation. I loved Max too much to have someone destroy her future.

After we finished dinner, they handed out awards, then carted us to graduation by bus. Once we were all seated at the place, we all put on our caps and gowns. Of course, we all sat together.

After many boring speeches later, they finally called us up. It was about damn time. Max received her diploma, then they called me up. I ran up on stage, grabbed her before she had a chance to walk off stage and tossed her over my shoulder as I snatched the diploma from the principal.

Coach facepalmed himself and her brothers laughed, as did everyone else. What did you think we wouldn't make a spectacle of ourselves? We're Max and Finn.

After graduation, we were all goofing around when my parents walked up.

"Max, we have something for you," they said as they handed her an envelope. We all gathered around as she read it.

Maxine,

You finally made it! I'm so proud of you sweetheart! Graduation is a huge step in life.

Now, you will be entering the next stage of life. This stage is important as is the other. It's about becoming more of an adult and leaving your childhood behind.

Here's the thing, you won't be doing this alone. You have amazing people that will help you along as long as they don't mess it up.

We all laughed at that.

I wish I could offer some words of wisdom, but the truth is, you're going to have to navigate these upcoming years the best way that you can. Rely on the people in your life. They will help, especially Finn. I know he will take extra care of you.

Maxine, you and your brothers make me so proud and I will always be watching over you all. I promise.

We all stood there as she folded the piece of paper. I watched as she wiped a tear from her cheek and pulled her to me, wrapping my arms around her. The next four years were going to be challenging, but it didn't matter because we were Max and Finn. We were best friends, forever.
