Max
It's been four long years for us. Between school, football and distance, we still managed to make it work between us, without a few mishaps. We were both finally graduating and Finn had a surprise for me when we both got home. He wouldn't tell me what it was, even though, I whined. He said no, phooey.
My family came to see me graduate except for Ethan, he went and watched Luke; a traitor.
After graduation, we had to pack our stuff up. My dad and brothers helped me while Finn's parents came to help him. It had been a long four years of being apart from Finn, but we made it work.
Once we finished, we loaded up all our stuff and went home. It was a good thing home was only a couple of hours away. I still wondered what Finn had planned?

Finn
I was able to get home a day earlier than Max. I didn't tell her because I wanted it to be a surprise of what I had planned. She whined of course and pouted because I wouldn't tell her, but I wanted to make it special. The coach gave me a key to the house, so I could leave a box on her bed with a note. I think she will be pleasantly surprised by what I had planned. Now, I just had to finish up the details.
"Finn? Are you ready?" Mom yelled from downstairs.
I jogged down the stairs and said, "Yeah, is everyone meeting us there?"
"Yes, Wes said as soon as they get home, they will be there, shortly after. He sent me a message saying they were on their way."
"Good," I say to her.
"Come on, big brother," Cami yelled, pulling my hand. Dang for fourteen, she sure was tough. She reminded me of Max. I chuckled as we all walked out to the car and went to our destination. This was going to be great.

We pulled into the driveway and unloaded quickly. Dad wanted to take me out for graduation, but said we needed to make a stop first.I grabbed a box and walked into the house, up to my room. I saw a white box with a note, sitting on my bed. I set the box I was holding down and opened the note
Mad Max,
Put this on. The coach knows what to do next.
Love,
HuckleberryThat was odd. I set the note down and opened the box to find my old football jersey from high school. What in the world?
"Come on, Max," Dad yelled. I pulled on the jersey and went downstairs. From there, we all left. Now, what?

Finn
I stood on the football field at Heartridge high, tossing a football into the air when she came walking out, wearing her old jersey. I was wearing mine, too."Finn? What's going on?" She asked with confusion.
"Go long," I told her and she nodded. She started running, then I snapped the ball to her. She caught it and stopped, perfect.

As soon as I caught the ball, something caught my eye, writing. I stopped and started reading it.Will you marry me?
I looked up and Finn walked towards me. As soon as he reached me, he pulled something out of his pocket and got down on one knee.
"Mad Max, I have loved you since we were five. You're my girlfriend, my lover, and my best friend. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Football has always been our thing as well as movies and everything else. So, I felt it was fitting to propose to you on the one thing that has always meant something to both of us. Will you marry me?"
I looked down at Finn as my eyes welled with tears and said, "Yes, I will marry you!"
His face lit up and he got up, picking me up and spinning me around as he kissed me. He was holding the ring and I was holding the ball.
He set me down as we heard people yelling and clapping. I looked to see all of our family and friends walking towards us. He took the ball from me and tossed it aside as he slid the promise ring off and replaced it with an engagement ring.
"Congrats to the two of you," dad said to us as did everyone else.
"Now, let's play some ball," Aiden announced.
"What about food?" I asked them, causing them to laugh.
"Only you Max would think with their stomach over football," Finn chuckled.
"I am a little hungry," I said to him.
"Are you sure you don't want to play a game," he asked as he picked up the ball.
"Maybe later," I suggested and he gave me a look. Then I rolled my eyes as I yanked his jersey, causing him to lean down and whispered something in his ear.
"Are you serious?" He asked, his face filling with surprise.
I nodded. This made everyone confused.
"How long?" He asked.
"About a month," I whispered.
"When did you find out?"
"I found out a few days before graduation. I took a test and the doctor confirmed it," I smiled.
He smiled at me.
"What's going on?" Dad asked as well as everyone else.
Finn turned and looked at them, "Apparently, we're going to have a linebacker in eight months."
We watched their faces drop.
"Hallelujah! I'm going to be a grandma!" Nancy screamed, causing everyone to laugh including us.
Dad walked over, as did my brothers and Finn stepped behind me. I gave him a look, "Coward."
"Yeah, well, they won't hurt a pregnant woman," he shrugged.
"I got one thing to say to you," dad said. "Can you at least give me a granddaughter?"
We started laughing, "No promises there."
They congratulated us and everyone gave us a hug. Well, it looks like things are going to get crazy for us.
Aw, a proposal and a baby for Max and Finn. Wait until the next two chapters, you'll see what happens to everyone, along with a surprise.
There are one more letter and a special surprise in the last chapter.
