"How dare you say something like that about my advisor!" the king exploded after the long pause. "I am only telling you the truth, your advisor is a power hungry person just as much as his daughter," I stated coldly. "Shut your mouth peasant! How dare you come here and accuse my wife and her father!" shouted the king, "I should have you executed!" While Cailan was shouting, the Warden-Commander was looking at me thoughtfully. I thought he would attack or look angry. "Are you certain of this?" he asks. "She is obviously lying, she wants us to be suspicious of each order!" the king shouted. "I know it for a fact," I stated calmly, there was no reason to get angry, sometimes men are idiots. Or most times, well who cares.

A bird flew on my shoulder and told me that a blond man is approaching the ruins. "It seems that we are having company in a minute." I stated, "Maybe I can convince you that what I know is the truth and I know things, secrets that I could not possibly know." As I finished saying that Alister walked in, "Your majesty, Duncan I have news," he said, his eyes turned to me, "Sorry, did I interrupt something." I smiled at him, "Don't worry it's fine and I think your presence would actually help me to show reason to these thick-headed men." My statement throw the king into a frenzy, "How dear you insult your king!" I turned my gaze back to him, "You might be a king, but you act like a spoiled child, rushing into battle head-on without the thought what you might be facing." I told them, "Also, wanting to fight beside the Wardens in the front line is idiotic, as you say you are a king, you should not put your life in danger." I was starting to get angry. "Might I add that if you die, you have no heir, you would leave your lands unattended." I was fuming.

By the time I finished my rant a lot of animals had gathered protectively around me. The looks that all three men were giving me were filled with a mixture of anger, amazement, and fear. In Duncan's case, I saw respect. He sighed, "Your grace, if I may speak?" he bowed to me. "Of course Duncan, you don't have to be formal," I said while blushing a little, I didn't know why the sudden change in posture. 'Is it because of the prophecies that the old hag had mentioned.' He nodded, "My Lady, do you know why Loghain would betray us?" he asked wearily. "He hates that Cailan wants peace between Fereldan and Orlais, he thinks that Fereldan don't need their help and this country could stand on its own two feet." I explained, "He freed the fereldans whit king Maric, so he doesn't stand orlesians."

A silent pause took us over until Duncan asked again. "You said you know some secrets that might convince us that you speak true." I nodded. "What might these secrets be?" he asked. 'Oh, I smell drama.' I smirked. "Well, let's start with saying that we have a pair of siblings present, well half-siblings, but sibling neither the less." I shrugged my shoulders. Cailan was really confused, "What?" "Did no one tell you that you had a brother?" I asked, "If so you are the only one here who doesn't." I stated. He looked a bit mad, "Duncan is that true?!" The said man looked a little defeated as his shoulders slumped, "Yes your majesty, its true, Alistair is your half-brother, King Maric had an affair after your mother died." He looked down. "Why was I not told of this?" Cailan questioned. "It was so that you or anybody else would not think that he would threaten your right to the throne," Duncan explained. "Which I don't," Alistair added, "I was raised by Arl Eamon till I was ten when he sent me to the charity to become a Templar." The two brothers stared at each other. Probably none of them know how to continue the conversation.

"Okay, you can have your bonding time later, when there is more time and you are alone," I suggested and they seemed to relax and look at me to hear what I would tell them next. "Let's see, Duncan, you promised Levi Dryden to get back his family's honor and get back the old Gray Warden stronghold Soldiers Peak." Duncan nodded, "Yes, that's true and only I and Levi knew about it." He smiled at me, "I believe you, I just wonder if the legends are true." It's really bugging me that I have no idea what kind of legends he is talking about, that old baba, I should have questioned her about it, it was weird that she knew so much about me, things Gaia did not tell me. Now I feel pissed. "I am sorry to say I don't know what legends you are talking about, I was told that there were legends regarding my last name but what they are is a mystery to me," I said sadly. Duncan looked at me, "There are many stories, ones that say that the there will be a god that descends into the world of men. But some stories tell that a descendant of Dragon would hold the fate of the world upon his or her hands." he informed us. Cailan looked at the commander, "Are you telling me that she is from those old tails?"

"She has this feel to her that seems out of this world, its like I could sense darkspawn." he examined me while putting his hand on his chin, "The feeling is pleasant not like darkspawn's repulsive one."

I thought of what he told me. 'Was I a god too, Flemeth called me a daughter of the god so it sure seems like it. But it could mean that I was in a gods favor, Gaia did mention I had to be special if I appeared in her domain. If I remember correctly the Old Gods looked like dragons as did the Archdemon, but what could it mean?' I was really confused. being somehow transported to a world I knew as fictional and then find out that I am also connected to this world. Everything is a bit overwhelming. "Be as it may, it's more important to save this country then what I am," I

said to the three men around the table.

"I can't believe that Loghain would betray me, it's not possible." Cailan said, "My father and he were best friends." I sighed, 'Stubborn men' "Even the closest people could turn to be someone we could never have guessed, life isn't that easy." I told him. "There are things that change who we are, they may be good as they may be bad," I continued. "It depends on a person if they let the event destroy them or become stronger. There are demons in Fade, but people forget that they were once human too, but they let their anger or desire control them turning them into beasts." I murmured, "There is a monster underneath every person's skin, but it depends on our choices if we let it control us or would we overcome it."

When I finished speaking I looked into Cailan's eyes and smiled, "But what would I know, I am just a young girl." I giggled a little. Duncan smiled at me fondly, "You are different." I giggled again, "Is it a good different or a bad one?" I asked. "I'll leave that for you to decide," he answered.
