As I look at you,
I can see a shining star
I can sense the courage in your smile
And the brightness that you bring in life
Can you see how my eyes glow when I'm with you?
Can you see it sparkle while looking at you?
You are my shining star
The light in every darkness
The hope in every challenge
The rainbow in every storm
The sunrise after the sunset
Those eyes that meet mine, I wonder what it sees
When your gaze meets my eyes, do you look at me the way I see you?
Does your heart race when I smile at you?
Does your spine shiver if I'm beside you?
Am I just one of the people you know?
Or could there be something new?
Can you see me clearly?
Or am I just a silhouette for you?
When it's me on your eyes,
I want you to see someone who is always there for you
A woman who will love you even death cannot part
But when it's me on your eyes,
I know it was her you wish to see
Not this woman who is deeply crazy for you
Her eyes are what you want to see
Her hands are the ones you long to hold
Her presence is what you wish to feel
Everything about her is what you need
Who am I kidding?
I feel your disappointment when it's me on your eyes
