Chapter 15

(Lizzy's POV)

I looked at my reflection in the mirror and adjusted my uniform, a blue dress that matched my blue dragon wings  that were black near the bones and faded to blue in between. I ruffled my short black hair into place to give it a little 'poof' as they call it.

I heard the eruption of applause and I saw the hedgehog proclaimed as 'Ivy' come off stage.

"Nice job, Ivy, you were really good!" I complimented her. She was amazing, I never heard a girl rap like that before.

"Thanks...uh..."

"Lizzy." I laughed.

"Oh well thanks Lizzy, Good luck out there!" she patted me on the back.

Yeah this will be easy, no sweat! All I have to do is get on stage, sing my song, then I am done. Piece of cake!

"Next performing, is Lizzy singing wings of a butterfly by Him." I took a deep breath and walked onstage feeling proud of myself. when the clapping ceased, I sat on the stool and waited for the instrumental to start. Once it started, I began to sing,

We're standing still in time

The blood on our hands is the wine

We offer as sacrifice

The crowd seemed surprised by my talent. I smiled to myself before singing th chorus.

The crowd cheered me on and I sung out to them.

I repeated the chorus but didn't loose the crowd. I sung out the second chorus to get the attention.
