Chapter 12: Doppelganger Shenanigans

About 15 minutes later the doors to the throne room suddenly swung open to reveal 4 ponies standing there with looks of concern and curiosity.

"now, what in the tarnation is goin' on in 'ere?" Applejack asked.

Twilight raised an eyebrow "Did Spike not tell you?"

"He did darling, but we didn't quite understand what the poor dear was saying" Rarity explained.

Flashback...

The four best friends were sat on a small blanket having a picnic in the valley separating Ponyville from Canterlot.

"wish Twilight and Rainbow Dash could come, it simply divine out," Rarity said.

"Yeah I wish we could as well but she had a lot of studying to do and don't forget Rainbow Dash is a Wonderbolt and she may not be able to take time off as easily," Fluttershy replied.

" Ooohhh, I heard Dashie and the Wonderbolts are getting a week off next week starting monday!" Pinkie Pie happily explained as she bounced up and down to try and catch some butterflies.

Just then Spike came running with sweat dripping down his forehead, he looked like he just ran a marathon.

"Spike dear whatever is the matter you look completely distressed," Rarity said with a look of concern on her face.

"RAINBOWDASHTAKENTWILIGHTSAIDGOCASTLE" He explained really fast as he collapsed on the floor to catch his breath. (RAINBOWDASH TAKEN TWILIGHT SAID GO CASTLE)

The mares all just looked at him in confusion.

"Yeah weren't really much help" Applejak sighed.

"Well we've got a lot of explaining to do then, don't we," Twilight said as she turned to the Wonderbolts.

Spitfire nodded.

And with that, they began explaining everything which had occurred over the past few days, as Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy and PinkiePie listened with looks of Rage and terror on their faces.

"But.....but how did he escape?" Fluttershy whimpered.

"We don't know, Rainbow Dash got a letter from the royal guard saying that they think someone helped him escape." Spitfire recounted.

"So the Royal Guard came to the HQ for a Patrol then didn't they? Firefly questioned.

The Wonderbolts all nodded.

" So....how did they not spot him lurking around HQ," Firefly asked.

"...'specially considering how many would have arrived..." Applejack thought out.

"You don't think....one of the Guards was in on it." Twilight pondered.

Evryponies eyes widened.

"Did they say they may have an idea of who did it?" Rarity urged.

"No..not really but the letter did say they think it may have been a unicorn since they found traces of unicorn aura left on the locks," Spitfire replied.

Suprise, who had mainly been hidden behind the rest of bolts appeared through. " Aren't all....the.....the......the....."

Surprise and Pinkie Pies eyes widened.

"WHOA" They both exclaimed.

The two Mares stared at each other with wide eyes a long period of time.

Spike walked in. "Hey, guys" He greeted as he walked in.

"OH SHI--" Spike was cut off as Twilight quickly drew a hoof over his mouth.

Suprise and Pinkie slowly began walking around in circles in unison as they kept there eyes locked on one another. As soon as they made EXACTLY 180 degrees turn they stopped and stared at each other for another minute without even blinking once.

Pinkie Pie raised her right eyebrow as Suprise her right eyebrow at the exact same time.

Pinkie Pie reached a hoof into her mane pulled out a long Pink balloon as Suprise reached a hoof into her mane and pulled out a long Yellow balloon, Pinkie Pie blew her balloon up and shaped the balloon into a pony and Suprise blew hers up and sculpted hers into a pony too, both Mares let go of their balloons at the same time as the two balloons walked out of the room and out the throne room towards the front entrance of the castle.

Twilight, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity, Spike. Firefly and all the Wonderbolts just stared with wide eyed at the two similar looking Ponies. THESE TWO WERE COMPLETE DOPPELGANGERS and that may not be a good idea, How is Equestria gonna deal with two party ponies? It would be too much crazy...

"hmmmmm" Both mares murmured as they tapped a hoof against their chin.

Pinkie smirked and rubbed her hooves together, turning her side to Spitfire and trotting out with quick tapping steps... which Surprise did at the exact same time at the same pace. After a few steps, Pinkie switched to bouncing to which Surprise did as well at the same time. After 10 bounces, Pinkie began marching with straight legs, yet another motion that Surprise managed to attempt completely in sync with Pinkie. The two stopped and pouted at each other, faced each other again and remained still for a moment before they started bouncing back and forth while sticking their tongues out and blowing bubbles at each other.

Pinkie raised an eyebrow again, however, Suprise raised the wrong one.

"Awww...pooey you win." Suprise giggled.

"YAAAYYY" Pinkie Pie waved her hooves in the air. " By the way, I'm Pinkie Pie" She introduced herself as she stook her hoof out.

" I'm surprise!" Suprise stook her hoof out and the two mares shook hooves.

"THAT WAS FUN!" Pinkie exclaimed with a wide smile.

"I KNOW!" Suprise responded with a wider smile.

"I LIKE CAKE!" They both exclaimed at the same time. They both froze and stared, before smiling.

"Did we just become BFF'S" Suprise exclaimed as she bounced up and down.

" I think we did" Pinkie responded as she bounced up and down while giggling.

"Uhhhh....." everypony else responded with wide eyes and jaws agape.

"The fuck was that?" Fleetfoot questioned.

"I have no idea" High Winds replied.
