Chapter 24: Sister Bonding and Arrest.

Rainbow Dash's eyes opened as the harsh rays of Celestia's Sun hit her face.

She groaned.

Why does Celestia always have to raise the sun so damn early, can a mare not get some sleep around here?

"Glad to see you're awake Miss Dash," A nurse walked in and gave her a smile. Rainbow Dash smiled at her. "How are you feeling?" The nurse asked.

"Better than before, still in a lot of pain though" Dash muttered in response.

"I know dear, the doctor did come last night while you were asleep and hooked you to another IV line to give you painkillers," Nurse Tenderheart explained. "They are quite strong but not enough to make you drowsy, they should ease some of the pain."

RainbowDash rubbed a hoof over her head since she had a disturbing migraine that wouldn't leave her alone. Speaking of pain, "How...is everypony else?" Dash tried to ask.

Nurse Tenderheart got out a clipboard and looked over the patient's list as she refilled Dash's other IV line with some nutrients and fluids as well as saline to hydrate her. "Spike should be done recovering in about a day or two, Misty Fly, her wounds seem to be healing really quickly so I say about three days, Lightning Streak is in the same condition as Misty Fly, I guess being a Wonderbolt and having diets surely helps the body heal fast," She chuckled "And for Rarity, Dr Whooves has a unicorn nurse coming over from Canterlot as she knows a magic spell to heal broken bones, so she would be released by tomorrow morning." The Nurse finished explaining.

Rainbow Dash sighed, no matter how much her friends told her it wasn't her fault she couldn't help but feel a rush of guilt pass through her whenever she heard that her friends had been hurt because of her Dad.

"Look, Dear," The nurse began " I know you feel like it was your fault, through all the traumatizing things you have experienced over the past few days, it's normal to feel like things that happened because of your Dad are your fault," She smiled at her as she finished filling up Dash's IV line, "But you and your Dad are two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PONIES, Your nothing like him and I know you never will be, you would never hurt your friends willingly, I mean, you are the element of Loyalty after all." The nurse finished as Dash stared wide-eyed at her and slowly smiled which the nurse returned. "Oh, and Princess Twilight said she would be bringing your little sister today around noon, I think her names Scoo....taloo?" She asked confused as Dash nodded. "Princess Twilight will be bringing in Scootaloo, family always helps. Trust me" She finished as she walked out the door.

Rainbow Dash smiled. Things were finally starting to look better for her...

However, at the Crystal Empire, things were deffinetly not looking good for Rainbow Blaze or Golden Shield, who were currenlty sat in a Criminal Interrogation and Confessions room with hoof cuffs around thier hooves and wings firmly tied up, The door opened to reval Flash Sentry and Shining Armour as they both entered and took a seat while glaring at the two pegasi.

"So, Mr Blaze, why did you commit this horrible, horrible crime towards your daughter?" Shing armour asked in a harsh tone.

"Because that worthless child is the reason me and my wife had a divorce...It's ALL. HER. FAULT!!" He replied while glaring even harder that Flash And Shining.

"And Golden Shield, why did you help him. You were supposed to be the Captain of the Canterlot Royal Guards for Celestia's sake!" Shining Armour glared at his former employee, who in return only looked away and sighed.

"He threatened to hurt my family if I didn't help him"

Shining Armour nodded and placed a hoof on his chin.

"Very well then, since you, Rainbiw Blaze, have no valid excuse, you are to be put life in prison here in the Crystal Empire, far far away from Rainbow Dash. Golden Sheild, I understand you were put in a tough circumstance but his threat should have been reported to your senior. I can give your a reduced sentence" Shining Armour explained, "Flash, please escort these two stallions to the high-security Prison" Shining Armour ordered.

"Yes Sir" Flash saluted before unlocking the hoofcuffs and guiding the two stallions to the High-security prison, on the lower ground floor of the Crystal Castle.

Flash placed them both in separate cells and firmly locked them, he ordered two guards to watch over them during the day and ordered the other two to go on a night shift. Flash walked over to the cell RainbowBlaze was in and glared. "Sir, I don't think Miss Firefly would want to love someone who hurts her family on purpose, you might want to spend your time in here to think about what you've done" Flash grunted before walking off as Rainbow Blaze stared wide-eyed watching the stallion leave.

Firefly wouldn't love someone who hurts her family on purpose...

Rainbow Dash was reading the lastest edition of Daring Doo books when the doors suddenly opened with a bang, she yelped and dropped her book only to see the concerned face of her little sister and behind her was an exhausted Twilight.

Heh, I guess Scootaloo made her run

RainbowDash smirked.

She opened her arms for a hug as the little filly quickly ran up to her at full speed, jumped onto the bed and buried her head into Dash's chest while sniffling.

Twilight smiled, sweat still dripping down from her face "I'm gonna go get some water, sweet Celestia that filly runs fast" She spoke to herself as she left the two sisters to have some alone time.

"Rainbow Dash I'm so glad your ok" Scootaloo said while sniffling, "I don't know what I'd do if you left me." She said as a few tears escaped her eyes.

Rainbow Dash looked down at her with sad eyes as her little sister buried her face into Dash's chest.

It's true, what would Scootaloo do if Dash had left her. The poor filly would be alone since she lived in an orphanage without any parents or role model, that is until Rainbow Dash came around.

She smiled down at Scootaloo "Pfftt, did you think I'd give up that easily, I'm the awesome Rainbow Dash, I wouldn't let go that easily" She said in a smarmy tone in order to cheer scootaloo up, and it worked, she started giggling.

"I should have thought of that.....oh well" Scootaloo smirked.

"You silly filly," RainbowDash giggled as she ruffled her mane. "Well, you got five hours before visiting time's over, what do you want to do?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Ohhh, can you read me a Daring Doo book?" She asked eagerly.

Rainbow Dash smiled and nodded, she would always read Daring Doo to scootaloo whenever the filly came over for a sleepover at Dash's cloud mansion and they hadn't done that in a long time. She scooched up on the bed as scootaloo came in and lay her head on Dash's arm.

Once the filly was in a comfortable position Dash began reading the book to her.
