Chapter 26: Visiting Your Teammates

About an hour later The Wonderbolts had arrived at the hospital, however, before going to Dash's room they both went to Lightning Streak and Misty Fly's room first. Spitfire opened the door and to her surprise saw MisyFly and LightningS Streak, both finally awake and being checked out by the doctors.

"Oh, Captain Spitfire, glad to see your here, just gives us a minute we should be done giving these two a check up" Nurse Loveheart explained. Spitfire smiled and nodded.

"How are there wounds healing so fast?" Doctor Horse asked, clearly shocked by the rapid healing progress.

"Oh, I put some Physical Manipulation Liquid in their IV's" One of the Nurses explained.

"Ohhh that's what it was," Nurse Tenderheart giggled, " I thought it was just their diets that made their body heal faster." She explained while giggling, some of the other nurses and Doctors joined.

After some time the Doctors had finished up with the check up and left the Wonderbolts alone.

Fire Streak immediately ran up to MistyFly and drew her into a hug, which MistyFly returned while smiling warmly at her coltfriend.

"Glad to see you guys are doing well," Spitfire spoke up and smiled.

"We might get released tomorrow or the day after seeing how fast the wounds are healing." Lightning Streak explained.

"I can't believe one of the nurses thought that our diets helped our body heal rapidly," HighWinds added while giggling as all the other ponies joined.

After a few minutes, The ponies left to go check on RainbowDash.

Spitfire, Soarin, Rapidfire, Fleetfoot, Silver Lining, Wave Chilll, High Winds and Blaze walked down to go and check up on how Dash was doing, just as they approached her door, Nurse Tenderheart walked out and smiled at the ponies.

"You might wanna be cautious while you're in there," She smirked.

"What, why?" Spitfire asked, confused

"I'll let you see for yourselves, "She said while winking and walking off, The Wonderbolts all looked at each other confused before shrugging and walking into Dash's room.

Once the doors opened, they immediately knew what the nurse meant, there lay Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo, sound asleep while wearing content smiled on their lips. It was the most adorable thing they had seen the whole week, the way the two were cuddled up and smiling. It also looked like Dash's oxygen mask was removed too.

Due to the door creaking open Rainbow Dash's ears twitched as her eyes slowly fluttered open and let out a quiet, cute yawn, Scootaloo however, did not seem to be disturbed and continued to sleep. Damn, she was a heavy sleeper........either that or it was because she was next to Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow Dash looked towards the entrance to see the Wonderbolts standing their and they looked like they were trying REALLY hard not to squeal at the scene in front of them.

Why are they looking at me like that? Did I do something?

"Uhh....hey?" She greeted with a hoarse voice, her eyes then suddenly widened as she realised what her voice sounded like after not being able to speak for days, she quickly rubbed her throat and coughed. All the Wonderbolts giggled as Dash soon enough joined.

Fleetfoot was the first one to run up to Dash and drew her into a really, and I mean REALLY tight hug, Dash chocked from her firm grip.

"Gahh...nice...to..see..you...to..Fleet" Dash managed to choke out.

Spitfire chuckled "Fleetfoot your gonna kill her at this rate." Spitfire pointed out.

"Oppssieesss" Fleetfoot apologized with a cheeky yet innocent smile.

The Wonderbolts all surrounded Dash's bed and starting a conversation followed by some laughing and more talking.

And scootaloo didn't seem to react to any of this, she just happily slept on Dash's arm without a care in the world.
