~3 months later~

Buzz. Buzz. Buzz.

Jared quickly answered. "Hello?" He said.

"Hello. Is this Jared Kleinman, signifiant other of Evan Hansen?"

"Yes. Why?"

"This is Veronica Sawyer. I am a doctor at the Middleborough hospital. And I am calling to request you bring your boyfriend in because we have something for him. Free of charge if he agrees."

"One second." Jared replied.

"Who is it, babe?" Evan asked, walking in.

"The hospital. They say they have something for you and you don't have to pay if you agree."

Evan gasped. He knew what it was.

"Yes!!! Yes." He said.

Jared chuckled and went back to the phone.

"He said yes, Ms. Sawyer."

"Call me Veronica. Alright, get over here."

Jared chuckled. "Be right there."

They drove to the hospital and checked in. Evan was escorted to a surgery room.

~10 hours later~

Jared was STILL in the waiting room.

Finally, someone called him into Evan's hospital room.

"Mr. Kleinman?" Someone called.

He stood up and walked into Evan's hospital room.

He saw his boyfriend sitting in a chair with a bandage wrapped around the side of his face.

Evan looked over. "Hey, babe." He said, smiling.

"Why do you have a bandage?" Jared asked, slightly worried. Did the surgery go wrong?

"I don't know. Take it off." Evan said with a grin.

Jared unwrapped the bandage and gasped.

Where his eye was was a false eye made of white iron with a painted on iris. Where his pupil was was a hole.

And on the side of his face, concealed by his hair, was a button.

He stared at a pillow with holes in it.

"Press the button." He said, not sparing a glance.

Jared complied and a blue laser shot out of the false iron eye.

It burned another hole through the pillow.

Jared pulled his boyfriend back onto the hospital bed plaufully. Evan giggled.

They started kissing, but of course...

"Kleinman!! Hansen!!" They heard from the door.

"Unfortunately, my wife and I are not allowed to let you have sex on the hospital bed. GET OUT!!" JD yelled.

He, Veronica, Jared and Evan all started laughing.

"Anyway.." JD said. "Jake and Rich towed a second cop car here. You're needed at 1776 New York Drive."

"What was it?" Evan asked.

"A neighbor heard two children screaming and called. Get outside, get to the car, shoot the killer down."

Evan and Jared nodded.

They drove to the house and kicked open the door and saw.. someone.

With two tied up children on the ground.

Who the kidnapper was stunned them both.
