Steven Universe AU cuz hell yeah.

I put off part 2 of the "jealousy" oneshot to write this

Lmao I had to.

"Tanzanite!!" Blue Diamond called.

Tanzanite let out an angry huff of air.

My name is not Tanzanite.. He thought.

"Yes, my diamond?" He said sweetly.

"Come over here, please!"

The Tanzanite gasped.

"I have to go. I'll be there before you take off. I'll bring no strangers."

The Garnet nodded then ran back to the forest.

Tanzanite walked in front of Blue Diamond.

"Y-yes, my diamond?" He said nervously.

Meanwhile, an Agate was watching the conversation. The Agate was alone.. and hopelessly in love with that Tanzanite.

"Evan, he's called." He remembered being told by a Jasper. "That Tanzanite is trouble. Anxious, yet trouble."

"Why were you conversing with a rebel?"

Evan began to stutter.

"I-I.. I-I was just--"

"Are you a traitor? Trying to leave?"

"N-no, I--"

"Why do you seem so--"

Then the Tanzanite lost it.
"CAN YOU LET ME FINISH ONE SENTENCE?!" He yelled.

The Agate saw the look in the Diamond's eyes. She raised her hand as the Tanzanite began to plead.

"N-no, p-please.." He whispered, tears running down his cheeks.

Agate couldn't help but take action. Agate tackled Tanzanite, pushing him out of the way.

And they fused.

The new gem looked at itself.

One gem in the shape of a heart on the back of it's neck. Another in the middle of it's chest in the shape of a circle.

The first Purple Tanzanite.

Blue Diamond gasped, raising her arm again.

This = Tanzanite/Evan's thoughts)

The new gem took off running and ran into the forest.

I know where to go.

I trust you.

"I'm here!!" Purple Tanzanite said as he stopped in front of the hijacked ship.

Pearl, Rose and Garnet hijacked a ship and were letting Tanzanite go with them to Earth.

"She's a fusion." Garnet said. "I can tell."

"She's certainly not two... whatever she is." Pearl replied.

"I'm a Purple Tanzanite. I-I'm a Tanzanite named Evan and an Agate named Jared and I'm SUPER CONFUSED."

"What is it you know?" Pearl asked.

"Well, um, Agate pushed Tanzanite and fused with him to protect him and it was really sweet and kind of cute and Agate is really amazing but Tanzanite is adorable too and oh god, I think we're falling in love with each other." Purple Tanzanite rambled. He was blushing.

Garnet smiled. "You're like us."

Then they looked and saw them: Robonoids.

"Get in!" Rose yelled.

They all boarded and ended up on earth.

The Purple Tanzanite unfused when they were safe.

And both Agate and Tanzanite were blushing.

"You're in love with me?" Tanzanite asked.

"Kind of..." Agate replied.

Then the Tanzanite moved towards the Agate, standing up.

He held out his hand.

Agate smiled and grabbed Tanzanite's hand, allowing himself to be pulled up.

Tanzanite spun Agate away from him.

Agate began by twirling towards Tanzanite, who caught him.

Tanzanite pulled Agate in and...

Purple Tanzanite was back.

The two gems kissed.... and it caused them to fuse.

Purple Tanzanite smiled to himself.

The other four gems (cuz Garnet is a foosion) applauded.

But where is Purple Tanzanite now?

It's a long story.
