chapter 7

Chris's P.O.V.

I woke up with a horrible headache . I noticed my surroundings . I was in my bedroom. I saw my hands bandaged . I sat on my  bed and pressed my feet on the floor . But I didnt feel the wood, i felt someon's hands . Ashton was asleep on my floor .Suddenly memories from yesterday flashed in my mind . Ashton came here and I cut agaid and I cried and screamed and I hugged him and he hugged me and ....His eyes opened and he immediately looked at me . There was an akward silence .Our eyes were locked and I honestly didnt know what to say .

''I have to leave .'' he mumbled and stood up .I just remained silent . I saw him leaving and the truth is that I wanted him to stay .Chris what the fuck is wrong wih you ? I said to myself .I shook my head , my consciousness is right . Ashton bullies me .But why did he came here last night ? He bandaged my wrists , let me snap at him , hugged me and said that he wont hurt me . Maybe he is sorry , maybe he will stop . A smile broke in my face after my last thought .Maybe everything will get better .

 And with that thought I got ready  for school . Dad was still out , a thing that made my happiness even bigger.I slipped my blue jeans and a nirvana t-shirt .Then went to the kitchen to eat breakfast .I did my chocolate milk and ate a cookie . On my way to the door I took my backpack and jacket and got out . I wore my earphones and let Green Day make my way to school more pleasant with their songs . 

After about five songs ( Know your enemy , holiday , 21 guns , american idiot and boulevard of broken dreams ) I was standing in the hallways . By the moment Restless Heart Syndrome begun the music stopped echoeing in my ears . My earbuds were off .I turned around to see Luke holding them . He was smirking and holding them high .Suddenly a pair of arms gripped me from behind . I recognise the scent , it was Ashton . Luke started punching my stomach with his strong fists and a scream escaped my lips .Ashton placed his hand on my mouth and Luke kicked me one last time , before he and Ashton left . Maybe everything will get worse .

Ashton's P.O.V.

''We beat the shit out of her in the morning .'' Luke said tapping my shoulder . The girls along with Calum cheered and I faked them all a smile . Michael was looking at me angrily and his lips were in a thin line .

''Good job .'' Calum said and high fived me .

'' You guys are so hot .'' Ashley said and winked at me . Everyday girls come at us and tell us how hot we are , but I am not interested in them for a relationship , they are fun though .

'' Are you serious ?'' Michael said raising his voice .We all looked at him .'' Do you feel like the strong ones now .Messing around and bullyng an innocent girl . I am ashamed of you .'' he said and made me feel like crap .

''You bully her too .'' Calum said and Michael glared at him .

''I stopped . Anyways I am out of here .'' he said and left the table . The truth is that his words shook me a bit .

Michael's P.O.V.

I am angry . Angry beacause of them . They are cheering for making someone's life miserable . Like seriously ? I mean they are heartless . I looked around the cafeteria to find an empty table . I spotted a table in the back . Chris was sitting there alone . Maybe I should try to approach her . I walked to the table and pulled the chair out.

''Can I sit ?'' I asked her and she nodded . She always does that . She moved her chair and made the distance between us bigger .From her eyes I could understand that she was scared of me . But I dont want her to be .''Look I am sorry for everything that I have done to you . I am an asshole and you should not forgive me . I am terribly sorry and I want to make it up to you .'' I said but she kept staring at her shoes . She just nodded .''Are you going to talk ?'' I asked her .She shook her head .''Come on please.Say something .'' I pleaded her and she just sighed . I smiled at her .

'' What do you want from me ?'' she said and  I was taken aback from her words .

''I want to make it up to you and possibly be friends . I dont have any now . I ditched Ashton and the others , because they are mean .'' I said .

'' I dont have friends . No one wants to be friends with me .'' she bluntly said .

''Now you have one .'' I said and gave her a smile .''So would you like a cookie ?'' I asked her .

''Is this a joke ?'' she asked and I shook my head .

''Just trust me , okay ?'' I said and she nodded taking the cookie from my hand . 

''This is amazing .'' she said taking another bite .

'' I know .My mum makes them .'' I said eating mine .

''My mum used to make cookies too .'' she said and her expression changed into a frown .

''What do you mean used to ?'' I asked her , hoping I wasnt digging too deep .

'' She doesnt make anymore .'' she said and I decided not to speak about it anymore .
