Why

Kenzies POV:

Hayden looks over at us awkwardly as Annie gives him a look.

H: are you okay kenzie

I scoff.

K: I know you don't care so you don't have to pretend you do
H: Look I tried to be nice-
A: Hayden.
H: no I'm done with her acting like a total bitch to me when I've done nothing wrong to her-
K: I'm sorry

They both look at me shocked.

H: what?
K: I'm not saying it again

He gives me a small smile.

H: It's okay

He looks over at the two of us before he starts to walk out.

H: I should go now

He smiles at Annie before he walks out. Annie folds her arms looking at me.

A: what happened

I explain everything that happened to her and she sits next to me sucking her breath in for a second before turning to me.

A: so he likes you

I nod my head slowly.

K: and I don't even know why it bothers me
A: because you like him back
K: no I don't
A: you do Kenzie but it's okay
K: liking someone who would take advantage of me in a second is okay? for once would you listen to yourself.

I get up staring her down.

K: when your ready to talk sense I'll be getting my lunch.

I storm out the closet. There is no way I can like Johnny Orlando. The guy I literally despised since we were kids. I look up and see Johnny and Hayden walking out the principles office. Judging by how the principal was walking over to me I'm guessing they told him how I almost got raped in the closet. Me and Johnny lock eyes for a moment then he looks away.
