Kenzies POV:

Lex bites her lip looking at me. I just spent around 30 minutes ranting to her about everything that happened since I got back from LA.

K: and now I-I'm lost.

I say finally.

K: I don't know what to do anymore lex
Ld: look it's not that bad you can still-

I raise my eyebrows at her and she presses her lips together.

Ld: if you have a tiny bit of hop-...

Her voice trails off.

Ld: who the fuck needs them anyways. Look Kenzie all of you being together just seems like...you broke each other you know?
K: but we made each other better aswell.
Ld: you do have a point and I get why you want to fix everything but sometimes, things don't want to be fixed you know? Besides if Johnny still likes you like he said he did, then he would have never let you leave to stay here.

I sigh and nod my head remembering what Jacob told me.

K: he tried to make me stay
Ld: what was it he said 'for my sister'

She said rolling her eyes.

K: something like that yeah
Ld: well lucky for you I have a date and the guy has an older brother.

She says grinning. I instantly knew what she meant and I shook my head.

K: I'm not ready for all that yet, and besides how much older?
Ld: I'm pretty sure he is Johnnys age and you should come to just take your mind off things

She says giving me the puppy dog eyes.

K: uhuh nope

I say shaking my head firmly.

Ld: but I heard Johnny is starting to go out with Nat again, you don't want to be here thinking about him when he clearly doesn't care about you

She says folding her arms. I remember about how much Johnny said he didn't like Nat, why is he back with her again?

K: fine.

She squeals and claps her hands.

Ld: he is so cute you're going to love him. Imagine movie type dark brown hair and bright blue eyes.

She says sighing

Ld: I'm already jealous
K: are you sure you're not dreaming?

I say as we both giggle.

Ld: yes plus we have to get ready
K: what?
Ld: Oh I texted him already it's today
K: oh and you happen to forget the part where you tell me!

I say getting up.

K: I literally have nothing to wear!

She gets up grinning.

Ld: at least I didn't forget the outfit part

She says rushing into her closet and coming out with blue ripped jeans and a simple yet cute white top.

K: I will try to make it work

I say rolling my eyes and she smiles. I get a text from Annie and I open my phone.

A: can we please talk kenz? like today.

we can talk tomorrow I have a date :K

A: wait you do-

why are you so surprised? :K

A: but what about- nvm..
