Kenzie POV:

K: no ew I like chocolate chip
Jc: well you're dumb cause chocolate mint is wayyyy better
K: nuh Uh

I smile at my sisters boyfriend. There so cute together. Maddie comes in and jacks face instantly lights up and he pats the seat next to him.

M: hey Jackie

He pretends to be hurt and Maddie laughs and kisses him. There cute but this is awkward. I stand up and walk out before shouting.

K: I CANT WAIT TO BE A AUNTY

Before Maddie widens her eyes and jack roars with laughter.

I sit down in my new room. It's a urban grey and white room. It looks really artistic but not me. I decide to see how my friends are doing.

I ring Annie.

K: hey Annie bannanie!
A: KOLA how are you
K: great I miss you guys so much
A: meee tooooo
K: so um how is the rest of the group

Annie goes quiet.

A: I am not sure
K: what do u mean?
A: well Johnny and Hayden are not friends after he pushed me but none of them came back to the group. Jayden found out about Brandon and you and she has the biggest crush on him. So she now hangs out with Nadia and Sophie. Lauren me and Brandon are the only ones left.
K: I leave you guys for two weeks and these things happened

She laughs but I can tell she's sad. I growl this is all Johnny's fault he started all of this.

K: this is all of his fault
A: yup
K: I hate him! I wish I never ever liked him how could he lay a hand on you?
A: h-he was kinda scary but he is like a brother to me!
K: I wish I could come back
A: why did u leave then
K: I don't know why do u think Johnny is acting like this

A: he tried to go on the plane to say bye or something but Hayden wouldn't let him in case it lifted off

Jacob: if he really liked you he would come in here.
K: yh but
Ja: and he is not here so he doesn't

K: h-he was gonna come?
A: yup
K: Annie I MADE a mistake I will call u back!

I ring Johnny and after two ring he picks up.

K: Johnny can I talk to u please
J: no
K: please I am sorry for shouting at u
J: well it's to late now

I am surprised his steady voice is replaced with a low growl.

K: listen Johnny I know I hurt u I never want-

He laughs coldly.

J: it's fine tell me that u want to be 'friends' again
K: no I want my best friend back
J: ooooo best friend even better!

A warm tear rolls down my cheek. I don't like this new Johnny.

K: j-Johnny u broke the group
J: no u did they trusted u to stay Kenzie and You left
K: but Annie said-
J: Annie don't like u
K: yes she does?
J: why did u say it like a question? U know I am right.

I flash back to the phone call.

K: I wish I could come back
A: then why did u leave

I hear that cold laugh again. Mocking me. I hate him. Who ever he is.

K: u don't mean that! Ur just running away from ur problems like u always do.
J: u know a lot about running away.
K: YOU STUPID BASTARD JUST SHUT UP

I can't believe he would bring that up again he promised me he wouldn't!

J: I am the stupid one?
K: I wish I never met u!
J: u know what I don't care kenz go away
K: yh I will run away and u won't care will you!
J: I never said that....
K: and u won't care if I am gone

The line goes quiet

J: I don't care if u go cause u are not my friend friends don't hurt each other
K: I hope u know I hate u no one likes u!
J: says the person who confessed their love for me.
K: I will never like u
J: I hate u slut go back to Hayden

My eyes fill with tears. And anger boils inside me.

K: bye Johnny

I cut the call and I throw it I don't hear a bang so I look up. Jack is by the door with my phone in his hand. He stretches his arms out and I run into them
