Kenzies POV:

I sit on the end of my bed whilst Picking at a escaped piece of string from my blanket. Lauren walks in.

L: hey do you want dinner?
K: I don't feel like it Lauren
L: kenzie....
K: I.dont.feel.like.it
L: you haven't eaten all yesterday as well

Her voice wavers I don't move at all. She stands there then I hear the door close. My phone rings and I decline it. I immediately get a text.

T: ANSWER YOUR PHONE KENZ

I smile at the name and pick up the call.

T: you declined me
K: and so what if I did?

The phone goes quiet and I realise he is laughing.

T: I wanted to know if you would like to go to the movies.
K: who is going
T: no one i want to go with just you
K: why?
T: why not kenzie damn you ask a lot of questions
K: it's in my nature

I go downstairs and find Brandon and Lauren throwing marshmallows at Annie.

L: where are you going
K: out
A: where to the movies

They both look at each other smiling.

L: with Johnny?

I look at them in confusion.

K: why do you see him here with me?
L: no reason

She smirks.

A: have fun

T: why this one
K: why not?
T: it looks boring
K: ok mr picky what do you wanna watch.
T: a scary movie
K: why
T: I wanna see who will get scared first.

I smirk we walk in and sit down.

K: I bet you a dollar you will get scared first
T: you wish Ziegler

I throw a piece of popcorn at him and he attempts to throw it back when it hits the person next to me. I giggle.

K: I am so sorry

The boy turns around.

K: Johnny? What are you doing here?
J: I could ask you the same
K: don't ask, answer.

He glares at me and I return it.

A girl waves at me.

L: I'm lucy

She grins over at me, we share a similar tan but that is about it. She has small blue eyes that go perfectly with her blonde hair. I smile at her.

K: oh is it the same Lucy or a new one?

Lucy looks shocked and I hear Tyler laughing quietly next to me. Johnny stays emotionless.

J: you never answered my question Mackenzie.
K: I'm here with-
T: me. I believe we met before.

He holds his hand out and Johnny simply just stares at him.

T: oh excuse me for being nice bro.
J: dont be Tyler

He spits his name. The lights dim as the movie goes on. Tyler reaches for the popcorn and I slap his hand away. Before he grabs a handful throwing a grin at me.

T: I'll be expecting my dollar soon Ziegler.

I shake my head and watch the movie. The movie ends as the lights turn on after the credits. None of us showed any signs of being scared in any part of the movie. Well except Lucy with her obvious fake screams as she uses the opportunity to clutch onto Johnny. Tyler fakes unblocking his ears as I laugh and slap his arm.

K: I want my money Tyler
T: Woah there Ziegler I didn't scream as well we both won.

I smirk at him and we stand up to walk home.

L: That movie was so scary do you mind walking me home.

Lucy says Johnny looks reluctant and opens his mouth to talk before Tyler jumps in.

T: didn't you come the same way as me Lucy I'll walk with you.

Lucy looks bothered but smiles anyway as she holds her hand out to Tyler before talking about how scary the movie was. I shuffle awkwardly before clearing my throat.

K: we should go.
J: yeah.

He says he starts to walk I try my best to keep up with him.

K: do you mind slowing down jeez who walks this fast?

He stops and glares at me.

J: who walks that slow.

I grumble as I lean against the wall as I try to steady my feet Johnny sighs as he comes over and easily picks puts me on his back.

K: JOHNNY

I scream in surprise as he carries on walking. I relax against his back. We get to the front door of his house and I jump of sleepily.

K: thanks Johnny

I say siting down in the bench outside the house. I knock on the door and rest my head on the bench.

Here is a s(crap) as I haven't written in quite a while now. I am gonna try and write a new chapter again tomorrow but for now enjoy this video of Kermit
