Kenzie POV:

I smooth down my black jeans and white crop top. I fold my hands as Lauren comes down with a similar outfit.

K: ready

She nods her head beaming. We are about to walk out as someone coughs.

H: where are you going
L: we are-
K: what is your business

I snarl.

H: I was asking Lauren

He says matching my tone. Lauren looks over at Hayden then at me.

L: is there something I should know?
H: well I need to know where your going.
K: why?
H: cause
L: we are going bowling

He raises his eyebrows. He looks at us obviously not believing our lie. I grab Lauren's hand and storm out of the house. She stays quiet as Dylan drives us.

L: so...

I look over at her.

L: did something happen between-
K: no

I snap. She looks over at me then clamps her mouth shut.

K: I'm sorry

I sigh.

K: just enjoy your date ok?

She nods. Before saying.

L: Kenzie what if he doesn't like me anymore, and decides that he likes red heads, or doesn't like the way way I look, or or what if I don't him-
K: Lauren shut up! I know Carson and I can tell he really likes u. And for him to go against his best friend and probably lose all his friends tell me he doesn't not like you. Lauren no matter what colour hair you have or how u look he loves you ok.

She smiles and hugs me.

L: thank you again for doing this Kenzie.

She gets out of the car leaving me with Dylan. Carson face lights up as soon as he sees Lauren and clutches onto her before both going in. I turn to look at Dylan.

K: are you sure you won't tell Johnny about this
D: Don't worry Kenzie I can see they really love each other, I won't tell him.

I nod my head and look down.

D: he loves you as well Kenz.

I raise my eyebrows.

K: Carson is my friend Dylan I don't think-
D: Johnny, I meant Johnny
K: oh
D: he was all ways talking about you. To the point that even without your presence you were there to annoy me.

I chuckle before looking at him.

K: he doesn't anymore, I don't know why though.

He sits there in silence for a while. A evil grin spreads on my face.

K: Dylaaaannnn

He groans.

K: why did the chicken cross the road?

He bangs his head in the wheel as I laugh.

Lauren skips to the door. Carson went in 30 minutes earlier to make it look less suspicious.

K: so it was good?
L: it was amazing

She breaths turning to me. Her eyes twinkling. I smile at her and she instantly returns it. We open the door to Johnny holding Carson by the wall. I rush over to them and break them apart. I look over at Carson's busted lip and Johnny's bruised chin.

K: JOHNNY WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU
j: Kenzie leave

He says coldly I take a step back as he looks at me his dark green eyes burning into mine.

K: NO. Make me

I stand in front of Carson. Johnny shoves me to the wall he puts he face close to mine, just as the group rush in. Hayden pulls Johnny away from me.

Ja: what the heck?! What happened?
C: this mad person attacked me out of nowhere!
J: I told you to stay away from Lauren
C: i didn't touch your sister

Lauren burst into tears before running out of the room with Annie and Jayden. Brandon drags Carson out of the room. I turn to glare at Johnny.

K: now look what you did

He stays quiet as his glare matches mine, I break away and walk into the direction Lauren went.
