Leave me alone

Kenzies POV:

I knock on the door and Maddie opens it slightly looking out. I frown at her folding my arms.

M: where were you
K: with Brynn and Jayden what am I not allowed in my own house anymore?

She pauses then opens the door I look over her shoulder and see Annie and Hayden sitting on the couch. I groan and start to turn around, planning to go back to starbucks. Maddie grabs my arm and practically drags me back inside.

K: this is kidnapping you can't-
M: shut up and listen to what they have to say

I look over at them.

K: oh look they are silent get out

I say smiling as sweetly as I can.

H: kenzie
K: hayden

Maddie starts to walk into the kitchen.

K: no you don't get to go anywhere after you betrayed me
M: they gave me a packet of Doritos
K: you would betray your own blood for a packet of Doritos
M: oh please don't be so dramatic

I raise my eyebrows.

M: they were the hot chilli ones.

I look over at Annie. Of course she knew Maddies weakness. I sigh as Maddie walks out and turn back to them.

K: if this is about Annie all she has to do is apologise

Annie just scoffs folding her arms.

A: for what
H: I'm not here about Annie I'm here about Johnny
K: Johnny?
H: he is broken about what happened between you two kenz

I laugh coldly.

K: oh is he now
H: could you at least talk to him
K: with all due respect Hayden I don't want anything to do with your friend.

I walk over to him picking up the soda by him and taking a sip.

A: you told me yourself Johnny likes you Kenzie
H: Johnny likes Kenzie wait what

I narrow my eyes looking over at Annie.

K: yeah why don't you tell the whole school that while you're at it seeing as you love to tell your boyfriend everything I tell you
A: kenz..
K: just face it Annie you're fake so why don't you take you and your boyfriend out my house-

Hayden gets up shoving me to the wall. I look at him in surprise.

K: I thought Johnny was the violent one.

I mumbled rubbing my arm.

H: I'm done with you acting like a bitch to everyone around you, for once in your life could you be nice.
K: funny how you're talking about nice when I'm pretty sure Johnny doesn't even know about you and Nadias little hook up.

He pauses before he turns to Annie.

H: could you please go for a second

She looks at us both worriedly but walks into the kitchen anyway.

H: kenzie this is enough do you really want to ruin you and Annies friendship
K: I thought this was about Johnny
H: it is but your going to ruin your friendship with her just because you won't..

I look at him daring him to finish his sentence.

K: go on.
H: I mean it when I say you're a bitch
K: and I mean it when I say this is not the first time I heard that
H: maybe you should listen this time
K: you know I might actually go talk to Johnny about Nadia you're right
H: I don't care as long as you talk to him.

I pause for a moment sighing.

K: if I talk to him will you leave me alone

He breaks into a grin.

H: you have my word.
K: fine

I notice how close we are before I take a step back he blushes looking away.

K: you should probably go check on your girlfriend before you have to buy her hot chilli Doritos everyday too

He laughs as he walks into the kitchen.

Johnnys POV:

L: You are not spending another day in bed

I groan turning around ignoring her. And like I expected the blanket was dragged off me.

J: Lauren get out my room please
L: as long as I'm in the house we both know you're not spending another second in this bed

I sigh looking up at the ceiling. Lauren walks over to my window.

J: no don't

She gives me a weird look before she opens it anyway.

L: if this is about Kenzie you need to get over her
J: it's not
L: mhm right

I get up tackling her as she screams. I grab a pillow but she beats me too it hitting me with my pillow.

J: okay you win you win

I say standing up. She smiles as we both walk out my room.

L: are you think what I'm thinking?

I look at her in confusion as she looks at me expectedly.

J: no not really-
L: road trip

I sigh and walk ahead of her.

L: oh come on it will be fun

I ignore her walking into the the kitchen. I feel a apple hit the back of my head.

J: ow- I never said no.

She grins at me dancing around the kitchen. Sometimes I wonder how she is even my sister.
