Johnnys POV:

I feel someone tap me as I wake up.

D: wake your girl up for me

I look at him in confusion.

J: she isn't my girl
D: right

He points to my left and I see Kenzie laying on my shoulder. I tap her softly but she doesn't respond.

J: you guys can go without us

He nods smiling at the both of us but starts going as soon as he notices my glare.

D: you want anything?

He calls out.

J: just get me some chips

He nods his head and looks over at Kenzie.

D: and your girl?

I glare at him again as he walks away laughing.

Kenzie POV:

D: and your girl?

I mentally roll my eyes at him and wait until he is gone. Hayden told me I should talk to him so I guess that's what I'm going to do. I try not to sigh when I open my eyes, pretending to just wake up. And judging by his face he probably didn't want to talk.

K: where is everyone
J: gone to get things

I nod my head slowly.

K: so how are you-
J: why are you talking to me?

I pause biting my lip.

K: I being forced to talk to you so.

He scoffs.

J: of course you are.
K: okay what is your problem
J: my problem is you've made it pretty clear that is hating each other is exactly how you want it to be
K: I changed my mind.
J: oh really

He said sarcastically.

K: I want to be friends

He smirks at me coldly but this time I look at him right back.

J: then let's play a little game
K: which is
J: I ask you a question you answer with the truth
K: that doesn't sound like a game-
J: your turn

I instantly regret pretending to wake up.

J: is something going on between you and Brandon

I'm not surprised about how straightforward he is being.

K: what do you mean by that
J: are you dating

He says in a duh like tone. I laugh looking at him.

K: no thanks

He gives me a look and I shrug.

K: I don't like him and I never did
J: but you went on a date with him
K: it meant nothing Johnny

I say bluntly as I look at him.

K: your turn Orlando

He looks at me expectedly.

K: your favourite girlfriend
J: wow your acting like I'm a player or something

The sarcasm practically dripped off those words.

K: just answer
J: Nadia

I feel myself go hot for a second. I look out the window not wanting him to see.

J: what?
K: nothing

The car goes quiet and I look back at him. To my surprise I see him laughing. I fold my arms.

K: what
J: never thought you would you be jealous that's all

I blush.

K: I'm not
J: right.
K: I'm being serious

He moves his face closer too mine.

J: like I said, right.

Johnnys POV:

Kenzie goes quiet noticing how close we are. I smirk as my gaze drops to her lips. The car door opens and I move away Jayden looks at us in confusion throwing a packet of crips at me.

Ja: Dylan said to share with Kenzie

I look over at Kenzie who was still blushing we lock eyes for a moment before I look back at Jayden.

J: of course

I say with a smile. Annie looks over at the two of us.

A: did you talk to him?

She clears her throat

K: yeah

The car starts to move as I kick Lauren's chair

L: what is it
J: you would think being your brother means you would be nicer to me
L: you're not my brother you just happened to live in the same house as me.

She says rolling her eyes.

L: you know it should actually be called double v because it's joined with two v's.

I groan not even bothering to join in this conversation I know too well.

H: what-
L: it's not hard to understand

She says rolling her eyes

J: ignore my sister she doesn't make sense

Kenzie looks at me.

J: what?
K: I mean it makes sense
H: you know what just shut up both of you
K: whatever summerall

I look out the window convinced that Lauren is actually a twin.
