"Honey, do you mind setting the table for dinner?"
"Sure," you say happy you have something to fill the time.

Jack's POV
I want to talk to Y/N, but she seems very quiet. After a couple of minutes, I finally start a conversation.
Y/N POV
"So how is school going? I haven't seen anyone from school in a long time." Jack asks.
"It's fine..." you say not really knowing how to answer. You feel bad about the short answer so you continue the conversation.
"How's L.A.? I heard you guys just finished your first tour."
"It was fun, but I am glad to be home."
You sit there in silence until Jack asks you the question you have been dreading.
"Want to hang out tomorrow?"
You know it would be rude to decline, so you say yes.
"Sure..." immediately regretting the decision. You continue to make small talk and finally, dinner ends. As they start to leave Jack pulled you aside.
"Can't wait for tomorrow. I will text you the details later."
"Ya. Bye." You wave awkwardly as he leaves.
Jack's POV
I am excited to hang out with Y/N tomorrow. I miss our friendship. We used to have so much fun together. I still feel so bad about leaving to L.A. I wish we had kept talking.
