Chapter 12
Jack's POV
In the mail today, Y/N got a letter about her dorming situation. I immediately told Y/N
"I'm not letting you stay in a dorm when you can stay with us here." I said to her.
"Jack, you're too busy to have another person to worry about..." Y/N responded.
"Y/N look at me," I said, grabbing her by the shoulders so she faced me. "I will never be too busy for you." I smile at her. She pauses for a moment.
"Ok. Let's do it."
Y/N POV
Did you just agree to move in with the boys? Your head is spinning just thinking about it.
*First day of school*
You're standing in front of ULA, nervous. You debating whether you wanted to go in class now and be the early girl or show up the second the bell rings. You go in early, not knowing what else to do. The second you walk in you realize everyone else is already warming up. Panicking, you join them. Throughout the entire class people keep giving you strange looks and whisper to their friends the moment they see you. You try to ignore it but it must happen every five seconds. On your first ten minute break, a girl walked up to you and said,
"I can't believe Jack would date someone like you..guess that means we all have a shot." She said and laughed, looking you up and down. You put it out of your mind but by the end of the day after getting the same kind of things said to you, all you want to do is cry by yourself in your room. The minute the final bell rings, you are the first out of the door, and the moment you get in the car you put your head on the steering wheel and cry. You were beginning to think all the things those people had said about you were true...were you not good enough for Jack?
*A week later*
You've now been in school a week, and the nasty comments keep coming. Somehow people have gotten a hold of your phone number and were constantly texting you. The minute you blocked someone, a different number texted you saying the same awful things. You hadn't told any of the boys anything, but you were starting to wonder if you should. On Friday, you ran to your car as usual, but the moment you closed the door, you realized something. This shouldn't be the college experience, running away from everyone and thinking about when the next person was going to come up to you. You loved Jack and wanted to stay together....but not like this.
When you get back to the house you see the boys in the living room and go towards Jack. "Hey, can I talk to you for a second?" You ask.
"Yeah sure." He says, standing up. When you're outside alone with him, you feel like you're going to cry telling him this.
Jack's POV
"Jack, listen," Y/N says taking a deep breath. "I don't think I can stay here.." She looks like she's going to cry. You're stunned.
"Y/N, what do you mean?" I say, confused.
"It's school....everyday people come up to me and say these horrible things that I know aren't true, but I don't think I can listen to them every day." She says.
"Y/N why didn't you tell me sooner?" I ask her. "I could've helped."
"Jack, there's nothing you can do," She's crying now.
"So are you going to switch to another school here or..." I think I already know what she's going to say.
"Jack, I'm going back to Pennsylvania." Y/N says softly.
IM QUAKING!
