Chapter 11
Y/N POV
On your way to dinner, you begin to feel bad for not telling Jack about your acceptance right away. He seems extremely sad that you're leaving because he keeps sighing and staring off into space, which is not exactly a good thing when you're driving.
Jack's POV
I can't believe this is going to be one of Y/N and I's last dinners together. I really don't want her to go, I wish there was some way I could convince her to stay, but she has no future here.
Y/N POV
When you and Jack finally arrive at the restaurant and are seated, you plan out how you are going to tell him the good news. You see Jack put his head in his hands.
"Do you really have to go Y/N? I mean, with our relationship and all I thought you would stay but.." He looks up at you.
"Well, actually..." You say ready to tell him, but you can't even finish your sentence before you hear "BEEP BEEP BEEP." Fire alarms are flashing everywhere, and Jack grabs your hand and you both hurry outside. When you both make it out safely, you realize that you never got to finish your sentence, but now doesn't seem like a good time. A few moments later of you and Jack not talking, the fire department comes out and says that there was no real fire, but just smoke that got out of control. You breathe a sigh of relief.
Jack's POV
As we go back inside, I look over at Y/N and she looks like she has something to say to me, but whenever she opens her mouth, she turns away. We collect our things and leave the restaurant.
"Sorry, that wasn't the best time.." I say to her.
"It's ok, it was kind of an adventure." She turns to me and laughs.
"Movie night instead?" I ask.
"Sounds perfect." She responds.
Y/N POV
After we decided on a movie night, my mind immediately went back to telling Jack the news.
"Jack?" I asked him.
"Yeah?" He responded by looking at me for a second, then back on the road.
"I'm not le-"
"HISSSSS..."
"Oh no," Jack says.
"What is it?" You ask.
"A flat tire." Jack groans and stops the car. You sigh. Damn this was not going as expected. You get out of the car and walk around to him where he's pointing to a nail that seems to have wedged itself into the tire.
"Could this day get any worse?!" He practically yells.
"Jack, what's wrong?" You ask, already knowing the answer.
"You know what's wrong." He says turning to you. "You know that you leaving is going to absolutely kill me. I can't even stand the thought of not seeing you every day."
"BOOM." You hear thunder and rain starts pouring down. Jack has to shout for you to hear him.
"Y/N, I've liked you ever since I can remember, and after all these years of not admitting it to ourselves that we both felt the same, we're finally together and now you're leaving?!" He's crying now. "This can't be how it ends again. I can't stand--"
"Jack I'm not leaving." You said immediately.
"What?" He says looking at me. You smile.
"I got accepted into ULA for dance, I'm staying in LA." You shout over the rain, feeling tears coming myself. You realize that you're both soaked, and you laugh. He smiles, pulls me by the waist and kisses you.
Boi I'm shook
