Season 2 Chapter 8
Jack's POV
The moment the nurse kicked us out of the room I stormed away. I didn't want to be anywhere near Daniel right now. Did he think he could just hide his feelings forever? I have to admit, I was a little nervous when she leaned against Daniel's shoulder back in LA but I never thought he liked her back.
Daniel's POV
I knew the secret was bound to come out sometime, but I definitely didn't want it to come out now when Y/N's in a coma. I didn't even try to chase after Jack I knew he wouldn't listen to me. I put my head against the door, trying to hear what the doctors were saying.
"It doesn't look good at all....she's not stable....it'll be a miracle if she survives." I pulled my head away, not wanting to hear anymore. I couldn't bare the thought of Y/N not waking up, it would crush Jack. I walked back to where the boys were.
Jack's POV
I walked back to the room, where I saw Daniel had left. I desperately wanted to go in, and just as I was thinking of opening the door, a doctor came out.
"Can I see her?" I immediately asked.
"Of course." The doctor responded. I rushed in, Y/N still remaining motionless. I pulled up a chair and grabbed her hand. The doctor said it was good to talk to her, so why not try?
"Y/N, being apart from you was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. The thought of you leaving me forever--is unbearable. This should be me in this hospital bed, not you. I deserve it for treating you like I did. I put your life on the line, and now I don't know what's going to happen." I paused for a moment. "You need to wake up. We need to fix this, because I love you more than you know. So please, give me some sign that you're ok." I sighed. This was useless. The doctor was stupid to think this would work. In the middle of my thought, I felt something. Her finger was slowly closing around mine. I was shocked.
Daniel's POV
I saw Jack walk into Y/N's room, and I had a feeling he definitely wouldn't want to talk to me, so I stayed out of the way. As I turned around Jonah was right behind me.
"Hey, did you see Jack walk back here before? He look pissed, do you know what happened?" He asked.
I sighed, and shrugged. "Who knows? I mean, it's probably nothing," I lied and walked away.
