I felt suffocated. id spent 3 hours helping Dina to tidy her room. It wasn't even a tidy it was a full on deep clean, rah the things id do for that girl. I had to go outside id been inside for too long.
"where you going?" she asked me
"Just outside for a few minutes I need some fresh air" I shouted from downstairs. I closed the door and went to the garden.
A FEW MINUTES LATER
I opened the door and came back inside, i got the Sainsbury's bag near the bottom of the stairs and ran upstairs. Dina layed in bed under the covers with the remote pointing towards the TV. she turned around and saw me standing there, she smiled,
"What movie dyou wanna watch?" she asked me.
"Whatever you want boo" I had been standing in the same place for about 30 seconds just admiring her beauty. Damn I was so lucky. She looked back up at me and moved up.
"Come join me?"
"Sure deens" I said. That was my nickname for her. I joined her and got under the cover. I put the stupid Sainsbury's bag down seeing as none of us fancied muffins. I put my arm around her and we watched 'Passenger' together.
She was so into the movie bless her. I smelt her silky brown hair. It smelt lush, it smelt of apples. I kept running my fingers through her hair she hugged me tight. She kept moving though. Her hand was moving closer to my pocket. The pocket that had the ring in it! I had to think of something fast. I held her hand and kissed it then left it laying on my chest.
"Your so cute you know that don't you?" she said yawning. She sat up and sat on my lap she stared right into my eyes. Her face was directly opposite mine. She started to play with my hair. I put my hands on her hips. She put her arms around my neck and kissed me. Her soft wet lips against mine. I could feel her smile. Her fake eyelashes tickled my face. It was moments like these that made me want to be with her forever. She pulled away and started to kiss my neck as we heard keys in the door.
"Urghhh mama always comes at the wrong time" She laughed at me as we both got up and make our way downstairs to go say Salam to Dinas mum Reshma. I checked the time and its half seven so I thought of an idea. We walked into the kitchen and see Mrs Waleed and Dinas little sister Samirah.
"Samirahhhh" I called. She came and high fived me.
"Hey Harrisss" she said, excited to see me.
"Wait I have something for you" I went upstairs grabbed the muffins and doughnuts and handed them to her "There you go"
"Thankyou Harrisssssss" She said taking them to the living room to go eat. I smiled. She was the sweetest.
"Salam Mrs Waleed" I smiled at Dinas mum
"Salam Mama" Dina said as she helped put the shopping in the cupboards.
"Salam my lovesss" Dinas mum said "And for gods sake Harris call me Reshma" she laughed "Harris darling will you help me get the rest of the shopping from the car?"
"Sure" I said opening the door for her. We headed towards the car.She let out a silent scream.
"WHEN ARE YOU GONNNA ASK HERRR" She whispered excitedly. I forgot Mr Waleed had told her.
"Soon Mama Waleed. Honestly I was thinking of taking her out to a restaurant tonight and ask her then if thats okay with you?"
"Of course it is!!! Omg honestly Harris this is amazing news. Its my first child to get married I'm so excited." She explained "I heard the ring is gorgeous may I see it!!" I pulled the ring out of my pocket and showed her. The sapphires glistened. "ITS GORGEOUSS" she whispered.
"Thank you somucchhh." I said as I was getting her shopping bags out of the car.
"I know shell love it" she said seeming more excited than I was 😂.
"I hope so" I said as we walked back in. I placed the bags on the kitchen counter and pulled Dina into the hallway.
"Deens were going out tonight so get dressed and ill pick you up in about an hour" I said, our fingers interlocking
"Um okay where we goinggg?" she asked "Should I wear fancy clothes?"
"Yeah baby" I said kissing her forehead. I had to let go of her hand. I headed for the door and grabbed my car keys. I wore my sliders and opened the door.
"See you later uhm Reshma" I called
"Bye darling" Dinas mum shouted from the other room.
"Bye Deens" I said to my baby, I winked at her, she smiled, then I closed the door.
Dinas pov
I had just finished getting ready. I had to redo my eye makeup to match my dress. I wore this.

It was almost half eight. I heard a knock on the door. I grabbed my purse my phone walked carefully down the stairs trying not to fall and opened the door.
"Deens. You look beautiful." He said shocked. He looked too good omg look.

He gave me a kiss on the cheek and we left the house arm in arm.
"Salam Mrs Waleed" Harris shouted then I closed the door. He pushed me carefully against the door and kissed me softly. And then again. He hugged me tight while doing so. "How blessed am I to have you" he whispered in my ear. It tickled so it made me laugh. We headed towards the car arm in arm again. He opened the car door for me the shut it after I got in. He went around the car and got in the other side.
"Where we going btw?"I asked him pulling my mirror out to see if my make ups okay.
"You'll see princess" he said quietly as he started the engine.
