Dinas pov He hung up and started to put his shorts on.
"Harris it's so late where are you going" I asked him.
"Reunelle isn't home. Shaddy worried." He said looking for his wallet. "I have a feeling I know what's happened. For fucks sake"
"What happened omg, is he in trouble?" I asked.
"Shit shit shit shit. I should have fucking let it go." He punched the wall. "These people ain't the type to mess with."
"Harris what are you talking about? Wallah your scaring me." I cried. A tear fell down my eye. "Are you gonna put yourself in trouble too?"
"Na I'm gonna fix it." He grabbed a top and put it on. He came and kissed me, took his keys and left the house.
I forgot what it was like to sleep with him at night. He never seemed to be home. I was scared for reunelle more than anything. His friends were like my family.
Harris' pov
I got in the car and started the engine. I got my phone and called shaddy and put it on speaker.
"Its the drug dealers" I said.
"Shit. Shit shit shit" he swore then hung up.
I was going at about 70mph. I needed to get to Reunelle.
Dina called me.
"Harris your scaring me, what's going on?" She was panicking.
"Dina are you crying? Baby I'm gonna need you to calm down."
"Just tell me what's going on wth don't leave me in the dark like that" she cried.
"You know used to smoke weed together and he always had trouble paying them off" I began to explain.
"Na because you didn't tell me you smoked it but anyway."
"Yeah I always used to help him pay it off. But ever since I've been clear of it all I told him I'm not getting involved with none of that shit."
"Right..." she said.
"He must've tried to get money to pay his debt off. He knew he couldn't ask me because he knew I wouldn't give it to him... and now"
"Now they're after him" she whispered. "Fuck"
"Ssorrry baby take care, I'll call you later" I said then hung up.
It was so cold out and I was only in shorts but I honestly wasn't thinking about that. I got to a traffic light which was on red but I drove past it. It was so late there wasnt anyone around anyway.
All of a sudden I heard sirens. I saw red and blue lights flashing. The feds were telling me to pull over.

I pulled over and got out of the car.
"My friends in trouble I'll pay the penalty I'll get arrested just let me get to him." I said as soon as I got out of the car.
"Sorry sir it doesn't work that way." The officer began. "You do know it's a criminal offence to drive through a red light? Not only that but your driving at 78mph which is 38 miles over the limit here"
"Naaaa man, ah for fucks sake I'm telling you my friends in trouble and your not even listening." I shouted.
"We're dealing with the situation we are presented with at the moment. After we have sorted this out we can deal with your friend."
"Are you dumb? As police it's your fucking duty to keep the public safe. Right so I'm tryna tell you a member of the public is in danger and you wanna ignore me." I walked a few inches then came back. My face was hot and red filled with anger.
"Do you know where your friend is?" The nicer police officer asked. "We'll get someone down there."
"Yeah I think he's at 54 bobgir road" I put my hands in my pockets. I didn't want it to get to this I wouldve sorted it myself but I couldn't. And god knows if anything happened to him id blame myself.
"What should we expect when we get there?" They asked.
" I don't know, I just know these people are gonna be after him." I explained.
"Okay not to worry I'll send a unit there immediately. Now we're gonna have to take you back to the station son to make sure your not under the influence of any drugs or alchohol. You are now under arrest. Anything you say may be used against your defence in court......."
2 hours later.
I had been in the station for ages answering god knows how many questions. My car was gonna be seized by the police for the next few days. I passed all the tests but just got given a penalty to pay which I paid immediately. I was sat down waiting for shaddy to pick me up. Instead I saw Aaron walk through the doors. I signed out and left the station.
"Thanks bro"
" Na it's fine. But what the hell happened." Aaron said as he unlocked his car. " reunelles been arrested."
