3 weeks of flirtatious comments, late night phone calls and meet ups, lip kissing, hand holding, meme-talking, ranting.

it was 3 weeks of millie and finn. the two were stuck at each other's hips, not being able to function if they didn't speak. it was like in the 3 weeks of knowing each other, millie learned so much about herself. she was capable of so many things now that she had finn to talk her through it. her life wasn't perfect, but really, it was better than it had ever been. or at least for a month or two...

it was 5pm, millie sitting on her leather couch with ava in between her legs. babysitting, something she hates to do; but with ava it was fun, ava was a little superstar.

millie's phone rang, her rolling her eyes and picking up without looking at the caller ID.

"hello, yes?" the girl spoke, playing with the ends of ava's blonde locks.

"hey, mills. im bored, can i come over?" finn exclaimed, making millie smile happily.

"sadly, no. im babysitting my sister. tomorrow?" she pouted, wishing he could come over.

"ava? the one that i FaceTimed. oh i love her, im coming over." he exclaimed before hanging up, not letting millie decline. she giggled picking ava up and sitting her on the couch.

"finn's coming over, okay?" she smiled at the younger one, making ava cheer with excitement. she cheeses happily, scurrying up the steps and trying to find something to wear. she pulled on a pair of white shorts and a black tank-top, leaving her hair in the messy high-bun it was in. the time passed with millie pacing around, nervous for finn to come over. finally, the door was knocked on which made ava rum before millie could reach it.

"who is it?" ava exclaimed, quickly opening the door when she heard finn's voice. she squealed, jumping into the tall boy's arms and laughing enthusiastically. her blonde curls bounced as she hopped up and down, making finn pick her up.

"hey, mills." he grinned, closing the door and stepping into the household. ava stared at finn, wrapping her arms around him neck as she looked at millie.

"i like your curls. he's cute, keep him millie." she looked over at her older sister, smiling. millie turned a bright red, walking over to the couch with her head down.

"she should, shouldn't she?" finn asked ava, sitting down close to millie, placing ava next to him and scooting closer to millie.

"you really should" he whispered in her ear, smirking as millie shivered in her seat. she un-paused moana, just staring at the television screen with a blank expression, too nervous to speak. she didn't want to mess up and make herself look like more of a fool to the boy that made her heart flutter.

"you're awfully quiet, babe." he mumbled in her ear, rubbing her thighs softly.

"my sister is right here you doofus, move." she whispered, moving his hand over and holding it in place, squeezing his large hand ever so often. he just smiled anytime he felt her tighten her grip, looking down at ava who sang along to the words of the songs.

"finn, are you gonna hurt my sisters feelings? please don't." ava whispered in his ears, looking at him as millie dozed off with her hands in his.

finn seemed to stiffen up, being awkward all of a sudden. "y-yeah." finn spoke, looking down at the cute toddler, shaking his head. he placed an arm around millie's shoulder, letting little ava cuddle up to his side. and there they laid, watching tons of kids movies.

millie knew her mom was probably at her boyfriends house, david harbour or hopper, something like that. she didn't have to worry about her coming, and even if her mom did come home, she really wouldn't care about her having a boy over, she was chill.
